Our Secret And A Mask

P's..tomorrow is my birthday.. lol..sorry..

Hehe.. we returned to school. As usual I'm around girls. I feel like a harem king. as I was day dreaming, I saw Stubomi.

She saw me but ignored me. How adorable. When lunch I eat with Kousuke. Everything was normal. Kinda. Maybe my ability has Sometimes activate with me noticing but it was a small matter..

and that was What I thought..

One day....

I was still awake after midnight.. suddenly I heard sounds. even though it was raining something was bothering me. something weird.

I walked out and search for it. it was coming from Onee chan's room. she was awake. I opened the door and she turned around. somehow she knew it was me.

"Shuuya can You keep a promise?" She asked in a serious tone.

"sure.." Then from that was the start of the deceiver in me..

She told me dad wasn't dad.. That he had abilities like us but only actives at night. She wanted me to act like her in a day at school so that she can investigate. I did as she told me to but it wasn't a pleasant thing to do.

After days she told me....

"Shuuya, dad misses mom.. he made a wish. With that wish he is able to bring mom back bu-.. ˝ I didn't let her finished and I agreed.

"then let's help the snake...I'm sure that dad will be happy.." I stood up in an agreement.

"No.. we can't" her voice was shaky. "to do so all the snakes must be collected.... and the snakes are..." tears starts to flow.

"the snakes are us..." I knew the answer.

"I'm sure the snake didn't tell him about this.. I'm sure he doesn't want all of his children to die.. also.. the snake is planing to take Takane and Haruka's life as well" Takane and Haruka are like onee Chan's best friends.. I'm sure she would be sad if they did.

"hey, What if I had those eyes?" she suddenly added up.

"What? How...? Onee Chan, don't do anything stupid. I can't afford to lose You as well. You are What we have left.. Dad.. think about him.." I was totally snapped.

"Don't worry.. I plan to stay with all of You.. FOREVER " the word forever echoed in my head and made me believe in it.

"What if we talk to him? ... the snake.." she told me.

"No.. a man like that can't just stop by words.."

"Really? What if we try?"

"No!!!" Then she agreed.

One night ...

Onee Chan came home late. I went to her room and searched for any clue to Where she was.. Then I found a note on the table..

"I plan to stay with all of You forever.. But I'm sure it won't be possible.. I will face the snake alone... and get the red eyes.. BUT I WON'T RETURN.... "

as I read that paper, I ran towards the school. I searched high and low and I found her with 'the snake' on the rooftop. I heard their conversation.

"I want dad back" onee Chan said.

"No..No.. as You can see this man made a foolish wish.. I didn't do it.. he wanted it..." he said.

"but he Doesnt know that it will kill Shuuya, Stubomi and Kousuke.. also Takane and Haruka right?"

"Humans are foolish.. that is why I love them. big wishes comes with big prices. that is What humans say right?"

"You are a scum... but what if all the snakes (followers) don't gather by the time the wish is needed to be for fill?" Ayano walked towards the end of the rooftop.

"it won't be possible for Me to do the wish Then.." he answered in a sly way.

"What if I got that power and never return from the other world?" she looked like she wanted to jump. I didn't want her to die.

I ran out of the door and wanted to stop her..

"You promise.. You promise to be with all of us.." I shouted.

"Shuuya... " she sounded sad and guilty.

"my..my.. isn't this just a mess.. don't do anything stupid now.." he hissed.

"You know?" Ayano turned and the portal opened.. it was like when I died. "I'm actually scared." she cried.. "goodbye.."

I ran towards her but it was too late... far too ate..

I shouted my lungs out to see her jump off the school building.

"my... my What shall I do now? the plan is all messed up..." he said.

"Then don't do anything" I pulled his lab shirt.

"that won't do.. there is a way.. " he smirk.

"What? You said their was No way to get mom back if all snake don't gather...." I pulled harder.

"Yes.. so I'll just reset time.. back to Where it all started" he laughed like a creep he was inside of dad's body.

"I'll kill You.."

"You know..the reason why this man is still alive is Cox of me so You aren't killing anybody.." he got me.

"No...No.. this isn't happening.." I fell on my knees.

"listen boy.." he chocked me. "go down this building and pretend to be that girl's corpse.. that's what's do best right? lying... " he let's go.. "listen.. You have No way of running from You fate.."

I did What he told me.. I followed his instructions.. why.. because there was No way to run away anymore. he even thread me to follow him or else he will kill Stubomi and Kousuke.. I did it to save them.

I even did his dirty work for him. I helped him capture Takane and Haruka. it felt bad but the thinking of saving my family, I just had to...

From that day.. I lost myself.. No matter How much I try I can't seem to crack open my mask or put it down. it will always turn active when I notice it or not.. and so from that day... Kano Shuuya was officially gone from this world.. What was left was a deceiver..

After that... Stubomi, me and Kousuke ran away. I didn't tell them my reason I just... deceived them.. and they fell for it..
