The Lady Of Fire

Earth?

I woke up on a strange looking planet. "Arrived at planet: EARTH." The strange thing announced.I quickly got out and examined the world around me. It looked like I wasn't that far from human life. I started to feel dizzy and then a strong wave of emotions and this burning sensation.

 When my mind finally realized what happened my body froze and all I could feel was the fire burning in my veins. I tried so hard to stop it but I couldn't, I felt tears pouring down my face and my skin, my mind, my body burning like I was in hell and I screamed for it to stop but nothing was working.

I started to panic which only made it worse. I felt like I was going to blow, all the images of last night flashed in my mind. I dropped to my knees sobbing and burning. I wanted to die, I was in so much pain physically and mentally, I couldn't control my body and I kept telling myself I wanted to die. It was all too much I had to let it out. I screamed as loud as I could, I opened my eyes and all I saw was fire all around me, it wouldn't stop, Why didn't it stop! I kept crying and screaming still in pain. 

I opened my eyes and I saw fire again and then everything went dark. It probably wasn't safe but my mind was at peace and I couldn't feel the burning sensation. I dreamt of my parents, all of us reading, having a picnic in the flower field. Then my dream eventually stopped and I was stuck in darkness once again.

UNKNOWN POV:

"Boss we have  something strange coming up on the radar" I informed my boss. " Ok suit up and send everyone the location were gonna investigate" My boss instructed me.

We all packed into a van and headed to the place I noticed the strange thing that was happening. I work for a secret orginantion, My boss wasn't from earth and when she came here she was lonely and clueless so she made her own organization to help out others who are just passing or have been forced out their homes.

We Had to go through intense trainings and test to test our strength and to test if we could be trusted. My parents study things beyond a regular person's knowledge after finding stacy also known as my boss. Yeah I know Imagine your sister bossing you around even after you guys aren't kids anymore.

"Were here, everyone keep your guards up but don't attack without my signal. We all nodded in agreement to her rules and then piled out the van. When we walked out the van everything look burnt, there was nothing you could recover from this. I was leading the others so I was first to see a petite red haired girl, surely she couldn't have done this. She looked to be like in her early twenties and she didn't have that much muscles. "Its a girl" I reported to my boss. "Ok only you go in and check if shes ok, we don't want to overwhelm her" She ordered. 

I followed orders and proceeded with caution, when I got up to the girl she was sleeping. I picked her up and carried her bridal style and carried to the van and we rushed back to our office.

AITHNE'S POV

I woke up in a weird room, I was laying on a bed that was connected to the wall, Weird. The front wall were glass so I had no privacy. "Hello?" I asked out to see if anyone was there. "Hi" A man said coming out from the shadows. He was wearing a uniform which made me feel uneasy. "Where am I?" I asked pressing my hands against the glass, it was cold. "A safe place, you see someone lit the whole area you were in on fire" He said. "But we do need to know how you could survive something of that extreme" He said.

"I don't know" I said, my father told me once to not give away secrets to someone you've never seen before. "Do you remember seeing the person who did it" He asked pulling out a strange device. "What is that?" I asked. "You don't know what this it?" He asked. Oh no that was stupid I was supposed to try and fit in. "Your not from earth are you?" He asked getting closer to the room I was in. "Yes I am" I said backing up onto the bed.

"Then tell me what this is" He said lifting the device to where I could see it more clearly. How was I supposed to get out of this. "It's obviously a nutburn" I said making something up. "Is that something from your planet" He asked touching the device as if he was writing something. "I;m from earth" I stated. " OK if your from earth then how many planets are there" He asked. Oh this was an easy question. "There are nineteen" I answered. The man laughed, how was that funny.

"Humans have only discovered eight, so let me ask again what planet are you from" He said. These humans sound dumb, why would they put me on such a slow planet. "I will not be telling you that for you are a stranger" I said. "My names Elio" He said. I couldn't help but smile, " Your name comes from an italian origin known as a sunny and spirited italian" I explained to the what I assumed human. "How do you know that" He asked. "My father named me aithne" I said not answering his question. "The irish meaning of fire" Elio said. 

"You caused the big fire" Elio concluded. "I didn't mean to" I explained not wanting to cause anymore trouble. "How" Is all Elio said next. "You wouldn't understand" I said. "Try me" Elio said sitting near the glass wall. I sat next to the glass to make eye contact during the explanation. " My family originates from fire" I started to explain. "Like actual fire" Elio asked. "Yes it runs through our veins" I said showing him my faint orange veins. "Wow out of all the people we've encountered we've never seen it to this level" Elio said looking as closely as he could at my veins. 

"You've seen other from different planets" I asked. "I've met tons of people from different planets" Elio responded. "What were they like?" I asked. "Well they were all different from each other, They all shared stories of the places they came from" Elio said. "I guess I'm the first one who won't give you a story" I said looking at my fingers. "They didn't tell us their stories for a long time, we had to earn their trust" Elio said opening the door to the room I was in."What are you doing" I asked. "Earning your trust" Elio responded.
