↻ the famous inkigayo sandwich

➛ haewon got a sandwich with a piece of paper from a member of a famous group.

♡ ━━━━━━━━ ✿ ━━━━━━━━ ♡

haewon stood up from the couch of the waiting room and stretched. "does anyone want to go with me to the cafeteria? i'm going to eat." she announced.

a few of her members looked up from their phones and answered no before going back to their own business.

"i'll come with!" chan shook the imaginary dust off his pants as he stood to join her side.

"me too!" seungkwan added and joined her side as well.

the trio ambled their way toward the cafeteria on the fourth floor of the inkigayo building while chatting. the group would be performing their newest song called 'fear', but this would be the last week of their promotions.

they entered the cafeteria and politely greeted a few idols in the same promoting period as them and made a beeline for the food table.

haewon went straight for the sandwiches and approached the vending machine to get a drink while seungkwan and chan were picking their favorite snacks from the same table.

they sat down a few tables from the other idols and started snacking on their food. haewon pushed the water bottles for the two older members and started unwrapping her sandwich when she saw a piece of paper land on her lap.

the young girl discreetly glanced at seungkwan and chan to see if they've noticed it but they were busy talking about their new song.

she silently unfolded the paper and as expected, a phone number was written on it.

'oh great, wait it's—'

"haewon, is something wrong?" seungkwan asked her worriedly.

the member in question quickly hid the paper in her pocket and sat up straight as she faced her members. "no, why?" she replied shortly and shifted nervously in her seat.

seungkwan and chan shared a mysterious glance but didn't question her further and finished eating. they also helped haewon finish her sandwich and cleaned up.

she looked around for the certain member of the boy group to find him staring back at her before they left the room completely.

"say, did your sandwich have a phone number in it? is that why you were quiet and wasn't able to finish your sandwich quickly?" seungkwan teased and nudged her side.

"do tell us! the sandwich is famous for that after all. we won't tell the others." chan lied through his teeth.

haewon hesitated before finally speaking up. "well, i think it might be accidental because we've never interacted before—"

"oh please, you don't speak with anyone outside our group except for monsta x, next." seungkwan cut her off.

the youngest sighed loudly. "okay, but that's different—he's from stray kids." 

the older members stared at her as they stood outside their waiting room in silence while the rest of the members are making noise, unaware of what was about to come.

"you'd tell them, wouldn't you?" haewon narrowed eyes and immediately blocked the door.

seungkwan and chan shook their heads quickly which made her squint her eyes at them even more if that's possible, but moved out of the way anyway.

chan quickly opened the door and shouted, "OUR ROSIE GOT A PHONE NUMBER FROM THE INKIGAYO SANDWICH!"

it was dead silent after that with the older members getting shocked and confused while regret washed over haewon for ever letting the two know about it.

'i knew they couldn't be trusted.'
