You Have No Idea

Friday

Megan walked into school Friday morning and saw her friend. She ran up to her with a smile. 

"Hey!" Nicole said giving her friend a hug. 

"Hey! What did I miss yesterday?" Nicole shrugged. 

"Not much. But Logan was asking about you."

"Logan?" Nicole asked. 

"Yeah. He wanted to first know why you weren't in school and then he was all interested in you." Megan's phone buzzed. She pulled it out and saw she had a text from JJ.

Will is going to pick you up from school. Got a case. We'll call when we land. Love you.

Megan sighed and put her phone back in her pocket.

"What's up?"

"Nothing, its fine." Megan said with a smile.

"Uhm...hey so whatever you do, do not look behind you." Nicole said. Megan looked at her confused.

"Hey Megan," a voice said from behind. She turned around. It was Logan. "Missed you in school yesterday."

"Oh. Uhm. Yeah. Sorry, I was sick."

"Hope you're feeling better." He said obviously nervous. Megan nodded as she began to start walking toward her first class, as the bell rang. "Hey, uhm my parents are out of town this weekend. I was wondering if you wanted to come over?"

"Sorry, I can't. Babysitting duties."

"Oh maybe next time." He said. Megan  nodded. She walked into her first class and sat down in her seat and placed her bag on the ground. She pulled out her phone and saw she had a text from her mom.

Call you when we land. Love you, babygirl. Have a good day at school.

She smiled slightly and put her phone away. Soon after her teacher started his lecture.

Megan waved to her friend as she got in the car. She put her backpack on the floor and pulled her seat belt on.

"How was school?" Will asked.

"Boring." She said as her phone vibrated in her pocket. "Might be mom." She pulled her phone out.

"Hey JJ," she said.

"Hey we just landed. Your mom said she'd call you later tonight."

"Where are you guys? Is it a bad case?"

"We're in LA." JJ said. "Its a weird case but we'll find them."

"Okay. Just come home safe."

"Of course. You out of school yet?"

"Yeah, just got out. Will picked me up."

"How was school?"

"It was school. Boring."

"You get any homework?"

"Unfortunately. Teachers loaded me for the weekend." JJ laughed.

"Can I talk to Will real quick?"

"Sure." Megan handed the phone over to him. They talked for a few moments and he handed the phone back to her. By now they were at the elementary school. "Hey JJ before you go, can you tell my mom I love her."

"Of course. I'll make sure she calls you too. I'll talk to you later, Meg. I gotta go."

"Okay. Love you, JJ."
