"so Karen, there's this new club that's the talk of the town, wanna come"

"C'mon Karen,everyone is talking about it"

"Your turning nineteen next month and for crying out loud your in your senior year, I mean you only live once" she whined and it was starting to bug me
"That's more reason why I shouldn't go clubbing, I need to read hard and graduate and besides alcohol isn't good for my condition you know that" I said shutting my locker after taking out my books and finally looking at the red haired girl I've called my best friend for eight years.
With a sigh I heard her mumble "whatever" and I went of towards our next class,she quietly followed me, murmuring and cursing every second. We got in class just before the bell rang. I walked down to the corner and took a sit Joey following my lead sitting next to me with a grumpy face. Soon after students start start coming into the class followed by Mrs Rosette she's our calculus teacher.
"Good day class, I hope you guys did the homework I gave you last Friday" she was answered with a lot of groans and rolling of eyes
"Good, because today..."she said trying to add suspense but failed miserably then pulled out some stacks of paper "it's a pop quiz" which generated louder groans and profanities filled the class room,she just chuckled at our predicament.
Thirty minutes past, I heard the bell rang "don't forget to submit your scripts" Mrs Rosette shouted
Once the class was cleared out I picked my bag and paper, walking to her desk,I submitted and smiled at her "who is in a good mood today, I suppose you did well in the test" she said
"Probably not my best"
"I won't be surprised if you make it as the best graduating student in your class Karen"
"Looking forward to it" she just smiled and nodded. I couldn't stop smiling until I saw a grumpy looking Joey waiting for me,way to kill my good mood Joey, I saw sighed rolling my eyes.
"Karen
"Joey"
"Karen..."
"Joey..."
"Karen"
"Joey"
We just stood there having a staring contest until she broke the silence,
"If you go to the club with me, I will..." She rubbed her chin "...do anything you ask me to do for a week"
"I already told you no" starting to get annoyed "Ok a month" she bargained so I finally gave in "Fine but we have a problem"
"What" she asked
"My mom how are you going to get past her" I said looking at her
"Leave that to me" was all she said.
