My alarm clock goes off loudly through the room, I groan and turn it off, I hate having to wake up so early, and I'm starving, not for food, but blood, I feel weak, but I won't show it, I won't show how weak I am without feeding. I sit up and look out the window, I may not be able to see him, but I know the future Alpha and Beta are watching me, seeing if I'm a threat or not and trying to figure out why I came with a human family, I open the window and climb onto the roof, and jump down in one fluent motion.

I walk up to the edge of the backyard, pretending to not notice the wolves right by me, they growl and I turn to face them, one is pure black with glowing blue eyes and one is a bit smaller, most likely the Beta, is all brown with green eyes, I ask as they shift back to human form, "How long have you been watching me?" My voice sounds distant, even to me, I sound afraid not of them but of myself. The one with blue eyes answers, "All night." I sigh and say, "Look, Alpha, I don't want to cause trouble, I'm here because I'm hiding my true-self away from my Auntie and her family, you see, I'm a half-breed, half-vampire half-human, please let me live peacefully." The beta growls and says disrespectfully, "Why should we trust a parasite like you?"

I flinch and glare at him, what a rude man, didn't anyone teach him to mind his manners, I answer trying to hide the desire to fight him, "Because, I do not have a Clan, or master to call and bring back here, all I care to ask, the Alpha's father if I can feed off of any blood donors or to go to the hospital and get a few bags of blood, and please mind your manners, I haven't fed in almost two weeks, please be more polite when addressing me." I'm trying so hard to keep my emotions under-control, I look at the Alpha and he's just staring at me, I look into his blue eyes and it's like I'm trapped, locked helplessly in his gaze, almost hypnotic.

I gulp loudly as my heart starts hammering in my chest, for some reason I feel a bit embarrassed coming to talk to them in just my pajamas, I feel a small blush trying to creep up my face, but his eyes keep me still, I force myself to peel my gaze from him, and look down at the ground, how did he make me feel that way? But I don't dare to look back up and meet his gaze, but I know I have too. I slowly look back up and meet the Beta's gaze, his eyes are lightened up in surprise, shock is written all over his face, I turn to meet Alpha, just as I meet his gaze I hear one word, and that word is all it takes to make me faint, he growls, "Mate."
