King Peppy and his wife Queen Joy were worried since tomorrow is trollstice. They had a pink bundle of joy in their pod, named Poppy. They couldn't let anything happen to her since she is the heir of the thrown.

"I'll be right back." King Peppy said

He went outside and called all the trolls to gather around. He needed to do something big, in a short amount of time.

"As we all know, tomorrow is trollstice."King Peppy spoke. "I'm going to need as much help as I can get. I know a lot of you guys are scared, but we can't be .We need to be brave, and do the best we can, especially for the young ones. So what are we gonna do, you might ask? We are gonna dig tunnels,and make our way away from bergen town as fast as we can.

This got all the trolls attention. Little Branch wasn't worried much though since he had his grandma Rosiepuff with him.

"Come along Branch" Said Rosiepuff."We need to get our shovels, and start digging!"

"But gwandma"Branch whined."What about Poppy?"

"You will be able to play with Poppy once we get this work done,ok? "Said Rosiepuff.

Branch smiled and said,"Ok!"so all the trolls went off to get the work done.

                                                                        IN THE POD

"Momma?" 

Queen Joy heard a small voice from a room. She always loved that tiny voice.

"Yes Poppy?" Said Queen Joy.

"Am I gonna see Branch again?" Poppy frowned

"Of course you will see Branch again! Queen Joy said. "But you won't be able to see him at this moment though..."Queen Joy continued her sentence. She hated when Poppy was sad

"Oh..." Poppy frowned "So when will I be able to see him again?"

"You will be able to see him once we have escaped from the bergens. "Queen Joy grabbed Poppy,and held her against her for comfort.

"How wong is that gonna take?" Asked Poppy.

"I don't know honey,but you just gotta stay positive." Queen Joy smiled.

Queen Joy booped her nose,which caused her to giggle.

"There's that laugh!" Queen Joy giggled, and so did Poppy.

"Now we need to get some rest for tomorrow, ok? Queen Joy said.

"Ok!" Poppy said.

                                                                      THE NEXT DAY

Every bergen in Bergen Town woke up bright and early for trollstice,but little Gristle Jr was the most excited since he expected to eat his first troll.He rolled around in the castle to his dad's room,and jumped on his father's bed.

"GOOD MORNING DADDY!" Gristle Jr said.

His dad was still fast asleep,and snoring like it was nothing.

"Daddy wake up!" Gristle said

"Daddy!Wake up!" Gristle opened his father's eye,but he was still sound asleep.

"Wake up!" His father's eye started to open just a bit.

"Wake up daddy..." He whispered in his father's ear.

This caused Gristle to start jumping on the bed,still trying to wake his dad up.The he opened his dad's shirt,and pulled out two  baby handfuls of chest hair.This caused his father to be wide awake
