Bet! (Oikawa x reader fanfic)

(1) Beginning

You were sleeping soundly asleep as soon as you heard your alarm go off. Dang it was time to start your first day...

-Your POV-

Ughh... I had to transfer to Aoba Johsai from my (R/N) school cause of my parent's work.. Dang I don't really want to meet new people, Plus all my friends are gone now :(

But I guess ill make new friends this year, Now I need to get up before my mom gets up and kicks my ass!

I hurried to get dressed in my uniform and hurried and toasted some toast and headed out of the doors or my house and started walking to walk to Aoba Johsai. Wait do I even know where to go..? Frick! I already left the house and my mom probably left for work already... I guess ill just start walking and see if I can find the school.

I kept galncing at any buildings that looked like schools, while I was looking at this one building

*Bump*

ouch! I looked up and I saw a brown haired boy.

"I-I'm so sorry! I should've looked where I was going"

He looked down at me.

"Oh! You are wearing one of our school uniforms! But ive never seen you around? I'm Tooru Oikawa!" He says while holding his hand out to help you up.

You grabed his hand and he helps you up. "Thank you, Im (L/N) (Y/N)"

"Nice to meet you (Y/N)-chan, But if you go to our school why are you headed the other way from the school?"

"O-oh right, about that i'm new around here.."

"Oh well then you can follow me then!"

He grab my hand and we walked our way to the school. I-It was a bit akward but on the way there he did try to make some small talk, Oikawa held my hand the whole way there. He didn't seem to care if he was holding it at all. I didn't mention it to him cause it might be weird of me to just bring it out of the blue. Once we got there at the entrance Oikawa let go of my hand and got surround by fangirls.

I didn't know how to react so I made my way out of the pile of fangirls. While making my way out of the pile I felt a slight bump

"O-oh my goodness! Im so sorry!"

"It's alright! I dont blame you with all these fangirls around. Im Matsuoka, and you are?"

"I'm (Y/N) nice to meet you"

"like wise! Hey why dont we be friends?"

"I would love that! B-but uhm its my first day here at Aoba Johsai..."

"Oh! I'd love to show you around come on! Follow me!" She yanked me back up and brought me to the office to see where my classes, my home room and such. She showed me half of the school before the home room bell rang.

"Luckly we have the same home room its over here!" Matsuoka grabed my wrist and dragged me the into the room.

She walked me into the room. The teacher looked at who came into the room.

"Ahh! You are the new transfer student! Please intoduce yourself." The teacher said in an "Im acting happy only because of work." I she guided me to the front of the room, Everyone's eyes on me.. *sigh* I need to make a okay impression so I dont find people to hate me.

"U-uhm I'm (Y/N) and I hope I have a good year here!" And I ran off and sat at the desk the teacher showed me before I presented myself. As the teacher was talking I was already day dreaming about other stuff, I wonder what the other half of the school looks like since me and Matsuoka didn't have enough time before the bell rang.

Before I knew it I heard the bell ring for next class, I hope I wasn't missing anything important...

"Hey (Y/N)!" Matsuoka yelled across the room. She seemed like she didn't care if people we listening or not. I wish I was like that, not caring what people thought of me. I waved back to her as somewhat of a responce.

"Oh come on (Y/N) I know it's your first day but seem a little more happy to be here!"

"U-uhm well its not that it just that what if I come out as annoying for trying to be outgoing.."

"Why worry about other people you are just being you, And there's nothing wrong with you being you." she said finishing it off with a small smile that could warm anyone's heart.

"M-maybe your right." I looked down. Then I felt a slight pat on my head.

"I know it takes time to be yourself, and im sorry if it feels like im rushing or pushing you in anyway."

"T-thank you Matsuoka."

"Alright now i'll walk you to your next class, Lets go before we're late!"

I admired her..she is so kind..and outgoing and postive. But she's right we should head to class before we are late.

-Time skip (it is now lunch time)-

"Ahh it's lunch time now! Im so hungry!" Matsuoka said while walking beside me.

"heh I know right?"

Soon as we got there, There was a huge group of girls at this one table.

I pointed to the huge group of people.

"Hey Matsuoka do you know what's going on over there?"

"Oh thats the volleyball tabe, you know where the volleyball guys sit at? Well apparently there is a "hot" guy sitting in that table and all those people are his fangirls."

"Oh...." Was it Oikawa? I mean I dont know for sure if he plays volleyball but he did get surrounded fangirls at the front of the school. Whatever i'm just glad we weren't sitting at the cafeteria it was too crowded, so Matsuoka offered to eat on the roof.

Once we found a spot to sit at we began eating our lunch.

" Yum! Eating lunch and smelling the fresh air is really great!" Matsuoka said while having her mouth stuffed with her food she had. It was pleasent to sit up here with a friend and eat lunch with them. But that got ruined once we heard a voice.

"Heyo what are two doing here?" It sounded familiar.. But I couldn't pin point who it was. But I knew who it was once I turned around and saw who it was.

"Oikawa what are you doing here..." Matsuoka said while eating her lunch, she really didn't care for Oikawa.

"Im here to ask you on a date~"

"Wait what?"
