midnight

Draco lazily swirled his wand around in the air, the hawthorn wood gleaming in the pale moonlight. He sighed. His boyfriend was supposed to be here by now but Draco supposed he shouldn't be surprised. It's not like Harry ever had time for him during the day, so why would he want to risk the possibility of being caught with him, Draco Malfoy, on the astronomy tower at midnight? Brushimg his blonde hair out of his eyes yet again, he turned around to reach for his cloak. Instead, he was met with the sight of his boyfriend. Happiness filled Draco and he ran towards Harry with his arms wide open.
Harry gently pushed him back and put a finger on his lips. Quiet. Draco froze, his heart pounding loudly in his chest. As soon as Harry nodded at him and smiled, he knew whatever it was had gone. Quickly, he jumped into his boyfriends arms and placed a quick kiss on his cold lips before burying his head in Harry's neck.
"I missed you baby." Draco murmered quietly.
"Missed you too love, but you must be freezing! Why did you take your cloak off?" Harry replied easily.
" I was practicing a spell. Watch." Draco scrambled down from.his boyfriends arms and picked up his wand that he had carelessly flung away in a rush to be close to his boyfriend. He concentrated on the spell in his mind and flicked the wand just the right way. A pale cloud appeared in the sky, then flew towards Harry and sat on his head like a cat. Draco giggled. When he was with Harry, the world seemed to have disappeared. Or rather, Draco and Harry had created a new one with just them inside. He wished that they could be together all the time, but it was too risky. If someone caught a Gryffindor and Slytherin together, they would loose their friends, reputation and some teachers might dislike them so much they may take marks off of important tests. It was for the best, but Draco's heart didn't always feel the same way.
