After both teams were discharged from the court, Oikawa swiftly snuck out of sight, so he could release his depression without anyone seeing him in this state. He had ran down the far-stretching corridor and slid into the drab men's bathroom - closing the door discreetly behind him. Toru leaned his head against the cold white, tiles, his hands clenching his silky hair tightly in rage and sorrow. Without realising, he had already began weeping. Tears were falling and he couldn't stop them. Oikawa's throat felt as if it were lined with barbed wire, a pain caused from holding back the faucet in his eyes. Toru slumped down to the ice-cold floor. Feeling worthless and alone, he placed his head upon his arms and knees. This was rock bottom, Oikawa couldn't keep up the calm and collected act or any longer. Thankfully no one was there to see him like this, at least thats what he thought...

Heavy footsteps became louder and louder down the corridor, until they stopped at the bathroom door. Oikawa wanted to run and lock himself in a stall, but didn't have the mental or physical strength for it, so stayed lying defenceless and pathetic on the floor. The door swung open. It was Iwaizumi, he had followed Toru here. Iwa had a shocked yet dissaproving look on his face - even though he too had been crying just moments before. Oikawa was too upset to even think about being embarrassed about someone seeing him like this - until - his eyes moved from the floor and met Iwa's at the door. He felt the need to try and explain himself, panicking slightly Oikawa trembled "Sorry I know I shouldn't be this upset, it's silly but- "
"Idiot " Iwaizumi bluntly interrupted.
Oikawa didn't seem too impressed with this comment. He gave Iwaizumi a confused and slightly irritated look, as if to say 'excuse me?'. Iwaizumi - now realising how blunt and confounding his statement was - exclaimed " You shouldn't have to apologize Oikawa, I know what your probably thinking right now, that this loss is all on you. But you're wrong. Like usual." Oikawa shot an enraged stare his way. He really had to get that snide remark in there. "Oikawa just becuase you're our captain doesn't mean it's just you to blame" Iwaizumi continued, as he kneeled down to the floor and clutched Oikawa's soft hands. Strangely this put Toru at ease, the two friends were never this intimate, why was this so exhilarating? "We all need to get stronger again, together, so just dony feel like you have to hide away and mourn on your own. The whole team was sobbing anyway, what's one more to add to the group?" Oikawa's mouth shifted into a small grin.
"Thanks Iwa-chan, you know I need you to pull me out of my little breakdowns." Oikawa retorted jokingly.
"I wouldn't say little" Iwaizumi laughed. The two stared at eachother for a moment until Iwaizumi felt the need to say something, to break the silence, " I mean we have been friends since we were young" But that seemed to just erase Oikawa's smile. "Haha yeah.. friends" He mumbled to himself, letting out a terribly fake laugh.

The bathroom was tranquil for a moment until Iwaizumi looked down. He was still holding Oikawa's hands. Realising the personal moment he just shared with Toru, Iwa's face reddened. In this trepidation Iwaizumi fell backwards and hit his head on the door. Oikawa chuckled. Merely happy that he was able to bring back Oikawa's usual good mood, Iwaizumi forgot about falling already - or maybe he had a slight concussion.

"Come on, lets get out of here" Toru proposed as he held his arm out and pulled Iwaizumi up from the floor.
"Sure, Toru"
