Few years after Sharon Morningstar's death, Chaeyoung Katarina Son, have now been brought into the world.

Seungwan, was ecstatic about her being a new addition to the family, but her mother's happy days ended after Kyungsoo was found dead, killed by her own Grandfather.

SEUNGWAN

Stood in front of me was him, the man who was feared by all of Hagye. The one who took away my husband's life. The one who killed the father of my children, and the love of my life.

I clench my fist, trying to ease out my bubbling anger. "Why, father? Why did you have to kill him? He didn't do anything to you! He gave you heirs! He proved himself to you! He even sold his soul just for you to accept him!"

"Darling, I couldn't stand seeing him in this household anymore. He's a pest, and what do we with pests? We get rid of them, Seungwan. No more pest, no more problems. Why can't you see that?" He spoke to me sweetly, as if he was teasing me.

My eyes were tearing from trying to hold back my emotions. I am greatly devastated and angered.

He took away the one who changed my life and my view on humans. He made me smile, laugh and he always made me feel loved.

In just a blink of an eye, he's gone.

And that?

That is clearly unacceptable!

"I will never forgive you father. All you do kill, kill, kill! You never think of anything but just cut people's necks and act like it never happened! You are nothing but a heartless, bloodthirsty piece of horse shit!" My tears fall, but my anger was much more evident.

I clench my fist harder, making my knuckles turn white, and my eyes blue.

"You are nothing but just a heartless, bloodthirsty piece of horse shit!" He mocks the tone I spoke in.

I'm clearly unimpressed by that.

Then, he chuckles. "My daughter, isn't that what you are? Why are you being so childish about that rat's death? He's mortal, he'll die as soon after a few years anyway!"

"Father, he's not just any mortal! He made your daughter happy, and I love him for that! Don't you know how it feels to lose someone like that in your life?!" I paused for a bit, then, I laughed. "Oh right, you never even loved my mother. You even killed her. I should've known!"

Yawning at my remarks, he swung his hand around him and the granite floor I was standing on turned into grass. "Enough talk, are you just going to stand there and rant all day? Go ahead, kill me."

He smirks. "As if you can."

I didn't waste anymore time.

Throwing my hands infront of me, a stream of ice and cold water shot out of them, freezing him in his place.

He only laughed. "Seriously? Is that all you've got?"

I kept covering him with my ice. "I have no time for trying to turn this into an action film, father. I don't need to throw punches to kill you."

"You do know that this won't affect me, do you? You're so pathetic, just like your mother." He asked stretching his limbs to shake off the ice that blanketed him.

He failed.

I gave him a grin. "Who's pathetic now?"

"Still you." He bursted into flames, melting the cold objects. I only watched him struggle, crossing my arms in satisfaction.

He must've figured that he can't get out of it, so he looked at me, brows furrowed. "What the fuck is this, Seungwan?"

"Nothing, just a little trick I learned from my dear Kyungsoo." I smiled, remembering how he confessed that he was a sorcerer of high ranks. He upgraded my abilities, making me a billion times more powerful than my father.

"Seungwan, listen to me you can't kill me. He's nothing but a problem to you! He made you forget about Hagye, and without me ruling it for you it might've gone to smithereens! You should've be grateful!"

I walk over to him and made him kneel by shapeshifting the ice. "I have already predicted that it will turn out that way father, and I am thankful that you got it back to order for me, but you took something so precious away from that I forgot about how good of a father you are to do that."

"You'll regret killing me, my daughter."

The ice ate more of his body, making him groan loudly from the slow, excruciating pain. It was torture, but worse.

"I won't." I conjured a huge pickaxe and pointed it at his face. "Now that I have a reason to take over Hagye now, this is a farewell."

The ice finally covered his whole body along with his head. "Goodbye, Soo Man."

And there, I swung the pickaxe at his frozen body, shattering it, turning him into small bits and pieces of ice.

Two of the men Seungwan loved, the one she can never lose and the other one who she once loved as a parent and friend are now dead.

After a year of trying to find Kyungsoo's body it was never found, suspecting that Soo Man might've burned it into ashes, but there was still held a funeral held for him. It was attended by Seungwan (of course), and his three daughters, Jeongyeon, Jihyo, and lastly Chaeyoung.

Chaeyoung was still young, a year old to be exact so she didn't know who and where her father was after she turned thirteen.

The story of how he died was told by her mother, and from there, she was told her that she shouldn't fall in love.

She didn't forbid her from falling inlove, her mother actually wanted her to find someone who would make her happy just as how Kyungsoo made Seungwan happy–

—but it served as a warning for her not to repeat the history itself since she was going to be the Queen of Hagye someday, after she reaches the age where she can finally handle problems responsibly.
