I took a deep breath and began walking. A feeling of insecurity and despair overpowered me and without realizing, I began sprinting as though my life depended on it. I continued on my path before falling to the ground; I stood up to resume my journey. I felt as if running was the most important thing in the world, and if I stopped, something terrible might happen.

At this moment, I suddenly smelled the sweet scent of nature and my own sweat. Heavy drops of water began falling from the now grey sky. I ran and ran until I was incapable of breathing; until I felt nothing. Suddenly, complete darkness. There was no sound to be heard, no odor to be smelled. I was scared; I stopped running. I began looking everywhere in an uncontrollable panic. I then sat down and started weeping, like a child longing for candy.

It was at this moment that a powerful light engulfed me. I suddenly heard a pleading voice call out my name. My eyes were only half-open when I saw him: the person I loved the most in the world. I gave him a tender smile before closing my eyes upon contact with his silky skin that was gently caressing my left cheek. I fell into a deep slumber without fear or pain.
