Chapter 2

Hanabi's POV

" If you arrived in there don't be careless, there are lots of Hashira's who will aim at your head. Also if you are injured don't forget to take the medicine, don't just sleep anywhere and always blah blah blah...."

I was just staring at Tamayo who is packing all of my kimono inside the bag while mumbling nonstop. Even if she's hiding it, she is so worried about me. I can't help but to smile at how she acts like a mother but what can I expect she is like a mother and a sister to me. Yushiro who is behind me was also fixing something, he can't let me look at it so I just turned my back to face Tamayo.

" Tamayo-neesan, I'll be fine don't worry too much okay. I promise to write letters." I said trying to reassure her, she didn't say anything until she finished placing all my stuff in the bag before facing me seriously.

" I know you'll be okay, but I'm worried of you being a careless person." She said making me laugh awkwardly, Tamayo really knows me that much.

" I promise not to do that so please I don't want to see you worry too much. And Yushiro are you done?" After reassuring Tamayo again, I faced Yushiro who is now facing me with a tint of blush in his face. I just smiled at him waiting for him to give me the thing that he keep on fixing secretly.

" H-here, take this for your protection." Yushiro hurriedly handed me a small bag making me grabbed it. Confused on what was inside I tried opening it but Yushiro stopped me. " D-don't open right now! Open it if you're in danger Hanabi-sama." He continued making ma laugh at his action.

" Fine, fine. I'm not going to open this mysterious protection you gave." I said while ruffeling his hair making him just glared at me and slapped my hands away from his head. I just giggled before facing Tamayo who is now done fixing my things, she then stands up before giving me a tight hug.

" Promise me not to die." She whispered making me just nod before hugging her back, I will not forget this warmth she is giving.

" I promise."

" Now you should go, I bet the Master is waiting for you." Tamayo then pulled away making me smiled at her then nod. I also faced Yushiro who is just coldly staring at me but nods his head and give a small smile. After eight years of staying in this place, I'm going outside again. It's been a while since I really went outside alone.

" See you then, Tamayo-neesan and Yushiro." With one last goodbye I grabbed my bag and left them. Leaving the place where I stayed for years is kinda sad but I knew we will meet again. From now on I'm going to stay at the demon slayer corps while helping the pillars and also the Master.

My heart started to beat fast when I arrived inside the demon slayer corps making me stopped and stared at it. The place was hidden and it looks like a small village but with westiria tree surrounding it. It's night time but the place was still lively. Thanks to Tamayo-neesan's medicine I'm not uncomfortable around the westiria trees. But, I can't help to feel nervous, thinking that the pillars might surround and kill me. But I shook my head pushing the negative thoughts in my head as I continued walking.

" Caaawww, Demon Hanabi has arrived!" I flinched when I heard a voice making me raise my head and saw a crow flying. I saw the same raven with Tanjiro, and I remember they called them a kasugaigarasu. It then landed on my shoulder. " I'll be the one who will guide you to the Master's place."

The Kasugaigarasu then flew again making me follow it. As I passed through some houses, one house caught my attention because it was written 'Butterly Estate' on it. But I just shrugged it off and continued following the Kasugaigarasu. After minutes of walking, the kasugaigarasu landed on my shoulder.
