Basically this book starts out with the main character who's an omega. School is basically torture for her because she's pretty much the target for bullies even though she tries to mind her own business and not get in anyone's way. So then one fateful day at school, she finds her mate. Lo and behold, he's a future Alpha. She was pretty excited about finding her mate but he was like: nah, Imma be an asshole and not accept an omega as my mate. He practically humiliated her in front of the majority of the school. She couldn't do anything about it because she's a sub so she's basically powerless.

Skip to the next chapter and you find out that she's a kickass fighter. And it's like: whoa, personality switch. And this is where we find out that she hates Kane's guts.

Skip to the next one and they're now in college, things are a little better for her in terms of bullying. But then Kane hassles her about talking to another guy and he tells, more like demands, her not to talk to anyone. It's a little weird but here's the thing, he didn't reject her. He only that he doesn't want her and I'm like: bruh, seriously? You're probably asking: if she's a kickass fighter, why doesn't she stand up for herself? She tried but the problem is that he's a dom and she's a sub so he didn't take it well and she felt inclined to submit to him to avoid trouble. Also, he's an Alpha so he could easily take her on without breaking a sweat. Back to what I was saying before, that part about him telling her not to talk to anyone. To me, it seems that he has an internal battle with himself, he's on and off. Like, one minute he doesn't want her and the next, he doesn't her talking to other guys. I wondered if he's bipolar or something.

Skip to the next chapter and she's apparently friends with a faerie, Aster, she once saved. And she's one the side of the reader, that's if you think that Kane is really not worth her time.

Another thing that made me wonder what's going on in Kane's head is in a scene where he has a typical thot by his: curvy, long legs, blonde, flawless, you know the drill, and one of his friends aka the main character's other tormentors asks how she feels seeing those two together. You know how are thots with their bitchy comments. Main character wanted to bust a tray over her head and I was begging and praying for her to do it but unfortunately she didn't, problem = she's a sub. Anyway tormentor 2.0 (the friend) wanted to see how Kane would react if the tables turned and he pulled Main Character towards him. But surprise, surprise there was no reaction. At this point I was seriously wondering if he's bipolar or what. I was like: dude, a few moments ago you were hassling her about talking to other people and here's your friend getting a little too comfortable with Main Character but you're not doing anything? Wtf? This also where we find out that Main Character hates sympathy because she feels likes it's meant for weak omegas and that's what she doesn't want to be seen as. But again what ruins that is the fact that she's a freaking sub.

Another thing that I found out is that Main Character's best friend may be a genius, but he's a freaking idiot at heart.

That's all I'm going to say because I realised that I'm just going to end up spoiling the entire book with my non-stop rambling. So yeah. Check it out, it's a pretty dope book.
