Chapter 1: Strange Dream

It's been weeks since that dream or should I say it's real and not a dream. Halos mag alala na si Mom because of the behavior I was showing tinatanong niya si Tita kung anong nangyari sa aking at halos hindi na ako maka usap nang maayos at tulala. Minsan tatahimik lang si Tita pag may tinatanong si Mom sa kanya at doon unti unting nawawala ang tiwala ni Mom sa kanya, hindi na siya tinatawagan ni Mom pag may trabaho siya o wala akong kasama sa bahay.

I tried to talk to my Mom para sabihin sa kanya na okay lang ako pero walang lumabas ni isa sa bibig ko. Mom hired a nanny for me parang kapalit ni tita but I don't want the new nanny I was trying to convince Mom na si tita nalang ayoko ng nanny ngunit kahit na sabihin ko hindi na magbabago pa ang desisyon ni mama.

I was at my study table habang hawak hawak ang kwintas habang yinitingnan ito. I didn't bother to let my parents know about the necklace I think it's just necessary to be, this necklace is useless after all there's no precious and unique about this thing.

I sighed putting the necklace down as I stand up walking towards the tinted glass on my window I saw children same age as mine, playing and happily talking each other. I felt envy as I touch my heart aching I feel so alone and abandoned by my own happiness. I want to feel a normal childhood and not her always at the house, prisoned.

"Takeysha" Nanny calling me and knocking hard at my door several times. Damn did she know how to knock properly? It's so disrespectful I was so iritated and flounces walking to the door I opened it showing an raising brows to my Nanny as she ignored my bad behavior and I know that she's just trying to force herself, bearing with me and my attitude because she needs money.

"It's time to eat breakfast, Ms. Lynch" She said wearing a fake smile

Anong akala niya hindi ko napapansin ang ginagawa niya she just wants to do her job easy and not doing anything but to sit at the sofa watching tv while Mom's gone at pag meron si Mom dito sa bahay akala mo naman super yaya at ang sipag sipag magtrabaho at mabilis nitong natatapos, mas lalo akong naiinis dahil humahanga pa si Mom sa pagiging determinado nitong magtrabaho. Ikinuwento niya pa ang mapang abusadong boyfriend, dinamay pa ang lolang may sakit daw Tsk two-faced bitch naawa si Mom kaya binibigyan niya ng extra allowance at libreng serbisyo ni Mom para sa kanyang lola kahit naman wala naman talaga siyang boyfriend at walang sakit ang kanyang lola, ganon na ba kadesperado ang mga tao sa pera.

Saan kaya lupalop kinuha ni mama yang babaeng iyan. Pag ako talaga niya kinalaban ay nako humanda ka siya sa akin.

"I don't want to" I said rolling my eyes and hardly closed the door and I heard that she murmured some words.

I want to confront her murmuring something about me at my back but I control myself not to do anything as I calming myself down I heard a ringing phone I searched it all around my room and find it under my pillow and I forgot that my Mom bought me a cellphone in case that I have a emergency.

I look at the caller ID and it's my dad calling me, for sure my mom was the one who saved my Dad's number.

"Hello Dad!!" I greeted him happily I miss him so much and longing to have bond with him.

"Hello Lynch" He greeted back. "How's my princess doing?" I rolled my eyes reviewing how my day feels "I'm great" I answered lying about it

"Well, that's great. How's your nanny? Is she good to you? Did she treat you well?" Sunod na sunod na tanong ni Dad I muted the phone as I releasing a deep sigh and keep rolling my eyes.

"Hello Lynch? Are you there?" I unmuted the phone. "Yes dad, she's great nothings wrong" Damn why does I need to lie just to cover her she's so damn useless Wait why did I said that uugghh I facepalmed scornful at myself.
