The question

We climbed off the roof and went back into Jacks bedroom,
It was now completely dark outside. Jack pulled back the sheets on his bed and got in patting the spot next to him signaling for me to come lie down,
he turned the lights off and we lay silently looking up at the roof still both trying to process what happened and what to do next. "Hey y/n.." Jack said rolling over to face me "yeah?"
I said trying to look at Jack through the dark "I've liked you since we first met, and that kiss...
it meant something to me.." he said "it meant something to me too, Jack."
I replied back, my heart pounding "w- well I was wondering.." he said with a stutter
"will you be my girlfriend?" I felt my face burn up from blushing although he couldn't see that through the dark,
"Yes!" I said. This had always been my dream although I had never really noticed it until today.
Suddenly my eyelids began to feel heavy and I fell asleep on Jacks chest.

The next morning I woke up to Jack gently shaking my shoulder,
"Wake up bubba breakfast is ready!" I walked down the stairs after him as the smell
of fresh pancakes with berries and syrup filled my nose. "mmmm that smells great!" I said as I sat down next to Jack with a plate full of pancakes in front of me "made it myself" he said proudly "thanks bub" I said kissing him on the cheek
and picking up my knife and fork to eat. After we finished my mum called me,
I walked over just outside the front door and picked up, "How was the sleepover?"
my mum asked over the phone "great, I should be getting home soon."
I said "Ok, love you bye!" she replied before hanging up.
I walked back inside to pack up my stuff and say goodbye to Jack, "Bye bubs ily!" I said walking onto his driveway "Bye!" he yelled back.

We Lived a few blocks away so I didn't mind walking back by myself, I plugged in some earphones and listened to music until I arrived home. "Im home!" I said as I unlocked the door to my house and walked in.
