Path of Love : Engagement

Zhan reached his house.
Zhan,"Mom am back. Dage where are you?"

Zhan's mother and Zanjin came out from the same room.

Mrs. Xiao,"Ah my boy you are back."

Zhan,"Yes mom. Ok let me get fresh am so tired."

He went to his room and texted Yibo he has reached safely and Yibo also replied at the very second as he reached earlier.

He changed his dress and was going towards the dinning room for his dinner he stopped in front of his mother's room. He won't stop but he listened his name while his mother was talking to someone in a call.

She was talking so harshly,
"Why do you keep calling me and ask about Zhan? I told you many times he is fine and I am taking good care of him. I know what I should do and till when. Better..."

She noticed a shadow outside the door. As she stopped Zhan ran to his room. When she came out to find who was the person standing behind the door she saw nobody there. She was sweating.

Zhan was gasping. He thought,
"With whom my mom was talking? My father is no more alive so who would ask about me to my mom? And what she has to do and till when?

Someone knocked at the door.
Mrs. Xiao,"Zhan where are you?"

Zhan knew that she came to check if he was behind the door. So he took the towel and made his hair messy and opened the door with the towel on his hand so that she would think that Zhan came out from the bathroom just then only.

Zhan,"Mom. Why did you come to call me? I was just going to the dinning room."

She observed him clearly and asked,
"Zhan did you come in front of my room just now?"

Zhan,"No mom I just came out from the bathroom. Why mom any problem?"

Zhan could notice that his mother was sweating hard. What is she hiding from him? Why is she sweating like this?

Mrs. Xiao,"Oh it's ok then I think I saw wrong. Leave it come to dinning room."

She left.

Zhan came in the dinning room to have his dinner.

Zanjin,"Zhan how was your meeting? Was it a foreign client?"

Zhan,"No Dage it was a meeting for the product we will be launching the next month."

Zanjin,"Oh. So that's great."

They started gossiping.

Zhan forgot the things happened few minutes ago.

Soon they went to their room and slept.

All the things were going normal.

A week passed.

It was the wedding day of Haikuan and Yi Fei.

In between the week many things happened Yu Bin and Meng Ziyi started dating and Zhuocheng and Xuan Lu also started dating.

So all the couples met each other and was living happily.

The wedding announcement was  going on and  the couple came out. They kissed each other and everyone clapped.

Zhan and Yibo was sitting together. Yibo suddenly told Zhan to come in his room.

He went to Yibo's room.

Yibo closed the door as he came in.

Zhan,"What happened?"
Yibo,"Do you remember the I came late from office on the day of the party? Do you know why I came late?"

Zhan,"Yes, why?"

Yibo,"The reason was this."

He took out a small gift box from his pocket.

Zhan,"What is it?"

Yibo opened the box and it was a wonderful platinum ring.

Zhan was stupefied.

Yibo took the ring out and put it on Zhan's ring finger. He kissed Zhan.
Yibo,"From today we are engaged. I will tell everything to my mother tomorrow."

Zhan hugged him and said,
"Yibo I had hurt you that day so much. You went to buy this ring for me."

He started crying.

"I can't even say a sorry my sorry is just worthless. Still forgive me. I love you Yibo."

He started sobbing.

Yibo,"Zhan I can't see you cry please don't cry please and what you did was for me. Don't even hurt yourself anymore. Remember if you hurt yourself you are hurting me."

Zhan hugged him more tightly.

Yibo kissed on Zhan's forehead.

They came out of the room the marriage ceremony already ended they were attending the guests.

Yibo and Zhan came near Yi Fei and Haikuan to congratulate them. Yibo already had interactions with Yi Fei. He got assured that she was really a wonderful partner for his Dage.
Haikuan shared many things with Yibo and Yibo did so. Haikuan told about Zanjin to Yibo and also why is he marrying Yi Fei.
But Yibo did not say about Zhan to Haikuan still now.
Though Haikuan had an attraction towards Zanjin but still he could love Yi Fei. Yi Fei was able to be capture Haikuan's heart.

Flashback (two days before in a restaurant)

Haikuan and Yi Fei was in a date.

Haikuan,"Today I want to tell you something. I don't know if you will still be with me or not."

Yi Fei,"What?"

Haikuan,"I had an attraction on a person of same sex."

Yi Fei,"Do you still love him?"

Haikuan thought that she would get offended and leave the place but she simply asked a question.

Haikuan,"I can't love him because of my family even he also can't love for him and responsibilities."

Yi Fei,"I will help you to stay with him."

The more she says the more Haikuan gets shocked.

Haikuan continued,
"Are you not angry with me?"

Yi Fei,"Why to get angry? You love someone else and if I come in between you two we will just destroy our life. I love you but it's better that one life gets destroyed in behalf of two lives."

Haikuan remained silent for few seconds looking at Yi Fei's eyes. He could see love for him where she only wants him to stay happy.

Haikuan,"No. I want to marry you. I don't love him anymore now but I was just afraid if you leave me when you listen this that I had an attraction on a same sex person."

Yi Fei,"Never hurt yourself.  Just keep this in mind you are the most important person for yourself and nobody else. I am going to stay forever with you. Just whenever you feel sad tell me I will try to be your happiness."

Haikuan smiled. He was now sure that she is the best partner for him.

Flashback ends.

In this present world  there are many homophobic people. They consider the homosexual relationship as abnormal. But being homosexual is not an abnormality. It's their decision whom they will love when they are adult.
So those homophobic people should stop putting their butt in others business.
