Chapter 1: Oh Boy

Autumn's pov
"Why mom why???!!!" I yelled at my mom.
"Because you're father and I won a 3 month trip to Hawaii and you need a place to stay." she said.
"Mom I'm eighteen I think I can handle myself." I said.
"Still you haven't seen your brother in years! Aren't you excited to see him?" She asks.
"No I call him and doesn't respond! We only Skype once a month and he hardly ever lets me be in his videos! Along with his annoying friend Dan who's gonna make it even worse!" I whine.
"Honey just please get packed. You leave on Friday." my mom says.
"UUUUGGGGHHHH!!!" I say as I slam my bedroom door.
I get packed and soon enough it's Friday.

Autumn's pov
Today is the day I go to Phil's I'm not that excited. I say goodbye to my parents and head off. About two hours later I get to Phil's flat. I knock on the door. No one answers it. I knock again! Why isn't anyone answering!! I check my watch. It's 10:30 am aren't they awake. Finally someone answers the door. It's Dan.
"Hi." I mutter.
"Hey come in." says the sleepy Dan.
I walk in to the flat. It's pretty cool. Then Phil comes in.
"Autumn!!!" he says happily.
"Hey Phil!" I say happily too.
I didn't realize he missed me so much.
"Here lemme show you you're room!" he says.
"Okay!" I say.
He brings me into a room with purple walls and a closet, desk, bed, and chair.
"Sorry we didn't decorate that much!" he says.
"It's okay!" I say.
Then Dan comes in.
"You guys are way too hyper in the morning." he says.
I shrug.
"Sorry..." I say.
Dan leaves and it's just Phil and me.
"I've missed you so much!" I say.
"Me too!" Phil says.
Besides Dan being grumpy, this may be a good trip.
