Chapter 14: Mephobia

Autumn's pov
"WAKE UP!" I hear Phil yelling through my door.
I groan.
"WE HAVE TO LEAVE FOR FLORIDA!" he yells.
I get up and sleepily get dressed. I walk out and eat real quick. Then I grab my suitcase and wait for them. Dan finally is ready and sits next to me in the couch.
"Hey so did you think about what I said?" he asks.
"I don't know Dan. Something doesn't feel right." I say and continue looking at me phone.
He stays silent. Something's up. He's hiding something. Forget about it Autumn.
"Let's go!" I say and Phil comes out.
We wait for the taxi to come. Finally it does and we hop in. We ride to the airport in silence. When we finally get to the airport, I look around in amazement.
"What's up with you?" Phil asks.
"I never actually been in an airport or on a plane before." I say.
"Wow." Dan says. "Well trust me your gonna love the view from the plane."
"I bet I will." I say.
While we wait for our plane to ride I start humming my favorite song, I bet my life by Imagine Dragons. That eventually leads to soft singing, and then singing in general. I start singing and dancing a bit. People give me looks but do I care? No. What I didn't realize was that Dan was filming me.
"Dan!" I say and sit back down.
"That was the amazing Autumn Lester everybody!" he says to the camera.
I look at him.
"Why do you so that?" he asks.
"Do what?" I say.
"Dance and sing around and just...not care." he says.
"Because I've got mephobia." I say.
"What's that?" he asks.
"The fear of being so awesome that the human race can't handle it and everyone dies!" I say.
He looks at me.
"I'm just kidding!" I say and playfully pinch his arm.
He smiles and starts talking to Phil.
