They come up the the church. "Oh hello Alice." Father Devin said. "Hello. I'm wondering if you can marry us. See. My fiancé only has a short amout of time to get married, three days actually, before he has to leave for home." She said. Father Devin looks at Hatter. "Oh honey. I'm sorry. You know your mother wouldn't approve of this.. And neither do I. I'm sorry so the answer is no." Father Devin says with a sigh.

Alices heart stopped. "Please! You have to!" Alice says very upset. "Alice. No." He said and left. "Oh Alice." Hatter said hugging. "He was our only hope. He's the only priest here. And there is no other one for thousands of miles and could take days to get to." Alice said crying. "Don't cry my love." He said trying to soothe her.

She ran out the church and back to the carriage. Hatter runs back to the carriage but it leaves before he could get in. He sighs. "I guess I walk." He said and started to walk back to the house.

He returns back home and sees his lovely Alice crying. "My dear. Don't cry." He said hugging her. "I'm going to loose you forever. I don't want to." Alice said through her tears. Night came. "You only got two more days." Alice said. Hatter sighed at the thought. "I'm really sorry." He said. "Don't be my dear. I know you didn't wrong me." Alice said. She kissed him.

She fallen asleep in his arms. "Sleep well my Alice. Dream wonderful, crazy dreams. Don't let anything worry you." Hatter said to his sleeping fiancé. "I'll figure out something... Hopefully." He said slowly drifting to sleep.
