THE KID-NAPPED

''honey'' my mum called again for the sixth time '' I am coming mom'' I replied still laying down on my bed.

''do you really wanna piss mum off and be given an extra week of being grounded'' came my brother's voice '' And aren't you meant to stay away from me or do you want to taint your reputation''i snapped throwing his words back at him. the very words that he said in front of all my friends, the words that made them laugh at me and that made me slap him and that resulted to me being grounded by my parents.

silence was all that followed. ''I thought so'' I said scowling at him,''i am sorry '' he said genuinely sad''i didn't mean to say that i was just in an angry mood that time i really am sorry''

did the one and only Gabriel sky just apologise wow.

''young woman will you get your ass downstairs and answer your mum'' my dad shouted angrily

reluctantly i went downstairs

''Nevaeh i have been calling you and you just sat on your bed and pretended as if you couldn't hear me, are you deaf or do you have cobwebs in your ear that you can't suddenly hear me'' she snarled

'' my ears are perfectly sound mum and i heard you calling i was just too tired'' i replied ,''too tired! all you have done all day is sit on that lazy ass of yours and listen to music ''my dad countered '''why can't you be just like heaven your twin sister'' my dad growled ''every day you either start a fight with your siblings or with someone else's child and now you are behaving like a brat what is wrong with you'' my mum spat out angrily ''yo...

''STOP''

''just stop it, i am sick and tired of you and mum comparing me to her '' i said pointing to my dad.

''mom, dad i am about to take the do... '' she stops sensing the tension in the air takes in all our faces carefully and immediately shrunk at the stare i was giving her.

'' you know what'' i said now looking at my parents, ''I HATE YOU BOTH'' i roared as my parents eyes widened and i took advantage of their shock and continued ,'' all i ever wanted were parents that loved me for who i was, that understood me that didn't judge me or compare me to my twin all so perfect heaven but no, you hated me, despised me, never showed me love you liked heaven more than me, even named me her name backwards and then still expect me to love you and be the perfect daughter but no ,like you say mum life isn't always fair it never gives you what you expect and want ,i wanted parents who were there for me and that wanted me but guess what i got parents but they don't want me '' and with that i ran upstairs to the room and locked the door leaving them all with shocked expressions on their face. i slid down the door as tears spilled from my eyes

''i am strong and strong girls don't cry'' i recited my mantra in my head but it didn't help.

minutes later there was a soft knock on my door which made me jump

''honey'' my mothers voice called out ''please open the door we need to talk'' ,'' no mum i don't feeling like talking now i just need my space it shouldn't be to hard considering you are never there''i said trying to hold back tears ''hon..., '' no just go please i need my space i don't want to see you or dad for now just go
