Chet slowly felt himself come back to the world of the living; his mind still couldn't fully process what had happened. His eyes fluttered open his vision was flurry at first but after a few blinks of his eyelashes, his vision began to clear, and he was able to stare up at what seems to be a ceiling. He eyes scanned around only to realize he was in a room he wasn't familiar with along with that strange guy from yesterday. Chet shot up and pressed himself against the headboard of what seemed to be a bed, he was hit with a wave of dizziness along with this intense feeling of fatigue. He let out a loud groan as he held his head trying to find some relief from the pain.

" What the hell did you do to me?" He growls over at the male who just looked at him with a sinister smile, it was at if had ulterior motives. "Relax I didn't do anything to you... Yet. You're just under the effects of blood loss. That vampire sure bit you pretty deep. You are very lucky, if it had bitten any deeper, it could have bitten through one of you blood vessels." It was only then did the male realize just how sever his injury was. His hand moved from his head down to his neck only to touch bandages, they were wrapped gently but securely around his neck protecting the wound that laid underneath. Had this strange male taken care of him while he was unconscious?

" So why didn't you just kill me instead of taking me to whatever hell hole this is? " Another growl rumbles in the male's throat as he stares daggers at this unknown male. " Well since there have been rumors of a dangerous dog stealing from shops, I thought I'd keep the dog chained up, so he won't cause any more trouble." That sinister smile turned into a smirk as he stood up which made the smaller male push himself even more into the headboard that stood behind him. " I'm not a dog asshole, I'm a werewolf. I thought you'd be smart enough to understand that or has your brain rotted from existing so long ashes for brains."

In retrospect it wasn't wise to piss off someone much stronger than you, he had seen how dangerous he was. Especially since he didn't know just how much this vampire could do but being called a dog caused the male to overflow with rage.  The vampire didn't even look phased by his comment and just stalked his way over to the bed ridden male. " Hey... stay back. I may be dizzy but there is no way in hell I'm going to let you kill me!" His growling became even louder as the fear of death crossed his mind. The vampire was not even a foot away, bending down to stare at the male seeming not afraid of him at all.

Chet closed his eyes as he felt the male touch his neck, the male's skin was cold but surprisingly felt nice against his skin, that didn't stop him from fearing that he could somehow be killed any moment. Only to hear the vampire laughing, he cracked an eye open, gazing up at the vampire who looks like he was mocking him, as if staring down at a child. Chet scuffs and slaps the male's hand away feeling powerless to leave at the moment. " Why are you laughing at me?! This isn't funny you ass!" The vampire's laughs died down as he wore that stupid smile on his face, it seems to grow wider at the male's outburst.

" You need to lighten up little wolf pup. I don't want to hurt you. I only kill things that are a threat to the town. And your petty crimes are no threat at all. Now relax so I can change your bandages, or do you want to get an infection?" Chet bit into his bottom lip, not enough to break skin but enough to cause some pain. This guy really knew how to hit all of Chet's buttons but he needed to play nice so he wouldn't end up digging his own grave. Chet took a deep breath and let the male unravel the stained bandages around his neck, he hadn't noticed hoe strange it felt without it the bandages against his skin.

" I don't think you'd care but my name is Toma. I am basically the guardian of this town. You would not believe how many monsters try and attack this village daily. They see this tiny little town and think it's free food or something. But once they set sight on this village, they never leave alive. Which is why I'm surprised I've never noticed you before. You definitely don't seem to want to kill anyone, but you still try and cause trouble, like an annoying little brat. It'll definitely become a problem if you continue. Don't you know there are so many animals outside of town? Why not go out and hunt them." Toma examined the male's neck, the wound was healing nicely and wasn't bleeding anymore to Toma's relief. " Yes, I just... Prefer the food the humans make it's much more filling then just killing a rabbit... "
