They will guide you in life and teach you about the importance's of life. If your idol is a famous person, they might not impact the world in a big way but it might change your life. For example, if your idol is a singer, your career might to sing and it will change your life if your life is going down hill and it is okay if you don't impact the world in a big way but small changes equals to big differences.
