My name is Zoe and this is how my life got crazy.
I opened my eyes, having no idea where I was or how I got there. All I knew was that I was in a bright room. Then vivid memories speed back into my head, flashing lights, burning heat, being thrown, a pair of soulless eyes, and growls. As my eyes adjusted I realized that I was in a hospital bed. The doctor walked in just then and explained that I had been in a coma. A bunch of thoughts raced through my mind like What happened that made me in a coma? When did I get to the hospital? Is there still pizza in the fridge? Did I remember to eat my bacon and cheese bagel sandwich? All unanswered.
The doctor walked in and said, "There is nothing wrong with you, you just need to eat a lot of food and rest well. Come back for another check up in a month or so."
I replied with a quick Thank you! and left. I looked outside and realized that I had no idea what year it was so I turned on my phone and saw that I had been in a coma for 4 years. Well I don't know what the frick would put me in a coma for 4 years but...okay? I then went to work, remembering that I had been in a coma for 4 years and that most of my food had expired. When I got there I started right away. A guy walked in. I would have usually ignored this other than the fact that he looked really strange. He looked 15 to 16 years old, had black hair, and a blue eye. Yeah I know I said a blue EYE, that was because his left eye was covered with a bandage. That is what made him look strange. He walked up and ordered a cheeseburger, with a large fry, and a medium soda.
I asked "Is this for here or to go?"
He said "For here," I got his food and gave it to him and walked back to the counter. He just ate and sat there absentmindedly staring out the window. Then, I noticed how familiar he looked. I walked up to him and said "Hunter?"
