chapter 4

Scarlett's pov:
When I woke up I just got up and went to my bathroom and to take a shower. And once I was done I went back to my room and shut the door and got on my phone. Then someone knocked on the door.

"Come in" I said

Then they came in and it was Jenny

"Your not coming down" Jenny said

"No" I said

"Why not?" Jenny asked

"Because I was about to go back to sleep I'm still tired" I lied

"Your lying" Jenny said

"No I'm not" I said

"Your not even my sister and I know when your lying" Jenny said

But before I could respond their was knock on the door and i knew what it was about, and then Jenny looked at me and saw my face.

"You don't want to come down because you know someone was coming to door to either talk to you or deliver something" Jenny said

I just looked down and nodded

Jenny then sighs. "Do you know what it is about?" Jenny asked looking at me

"Yeah" I said

"Is it someone who wants to talk to you?" Jenny asked

"No someone delivered papers..." I said

"What kind of papers?" Jenny asked

Then I sigh. "It's court papers" I said quietly

"Did you get in trouble with the law?" She asked

"No" I said. Then I looked down at my hands. "They are papers that my dad sent here telling us that he is taking Kaylee my mom-" I could not finish before she cut me off

"Wait Garrett sent those papers?" Jenny asked

"No... Collin did" I said

"Who the hell is Collin?" She asked

"My dad..." I said

"So Garrett's not your dad?" She asked

I shook my head no. "And no she did not cheat she was at a party with friends and he put something in her drink" I said

"Oh... Damn..." Jenny said

"And now Kaylee knows..." I said

"Was she not supposed to" she said

"No, no one was because if they knew then he would hurt the people I care about" I said. "So I'm gonna find a way out of my room so I want have to talk to Kaylee for a while" I said

"You can't run away from you problems," Jenny said

"I'm not I'm just hiding from them for a while" I said

"Scarlett..." Jenny warned

"Fine I will stay here" I said

"Anyway I'm gonna go so you can talk to Kaylee" Jenny said

"Ok" I said

Then Jenny got up and smiled and left my room and after some time I went down there and I saw Kaylee looking at the papers and when she heard me come down she looked my way, but I looked down.

"What the hell is this?" She asked. "Why does some guy named Collin want me, mom, dad and you to come to court?" She also asked

"I think mom should be the one to fill you in..." I said

Then she just sighed and got her phone out and called mom, and she filled her in and after she was filled in and they talked a little bit she hung up.

"Great just great" Kaylee mumbled

"I'm sorry Kay..." I said, going to where she was and hugged her from behind and she put hands on my arms

"You have nothing to be sorry for" she said

"But I kept it from since I got here" I said

Then she turned and faced me

"I don't care if you kept it from me, now I know and I'm not letting him take you from me" she said pulling me in a hug and I hugged back

Then we just stayed like that for a while

"Do you want to watch a movie or a tv show?" Kaylee asked not letting go of me yet

"Sure" I said

Then she finally let go me and got some snacks and then went and placed it on the coffee table in the living room and came back and got some drinks and I turned off all the lights and then sat down the couch and Kaylee sat beside me and I put my head on her shoulder.

No one's pov:
After a while they both fell asleep in each others arms.
