Mummy is shouting
Daddy is too
They are both angry
What do I do?
There's fire burning red in Mummy's eyes
Daddy won't shut his mouth and keeps telling lies
They won't listen to each other no matter how many words are said
I'm here scared wishing I was dead
They keep shouting and shouting and simply won't stop
Sooner or later I begin to hear something drop
It sounded like glass smashing onto something
I'm not sure what's going on or what's happening
I am just sitting in my room with a doll in my hands
I'm brushing its hair into fine and straight strands
It's too scary to go play with my dolly outside
Mummy and daddy are so mad I bet they won't notice if I died
They don't seem to care anymore
No matter how many tears fall to the floor
I need something to get mummy and daddy back together
Maybe a rope to tie around them and make things better
