15 year old Amelia sits in the bathroom waiting not actually believing what she's doing and waiting for but it happened and she couldn't believe it when the school nurse told her she's probably pregnant and should go to the doctor to make sure. "Michelle you cane come in now I'm just waiting, 5 minutes is like too long waiting" a nervous Amelia said as she unlocked the door for her best friend to enter. "Does link know? What did he say? What the hell are you going to do?" Michelle questioned amelia just sighed, sat silent for a few minutes and answered "I haven't told him yet cause I wasn't 100% sure I didn't want to worry him he's already been stressed out enough what with exams and stuff at home, but I guess I should tell him he's going to be a daddy soon. My mom is going to freak out, maybe I should run away" Amelia said looking at the quite clearly positive test. Then wrapping it up in a lot of toilet paper and places it to the bottom of the trash can in the bathroom hoping none of her sisters brother or god forbid her mother finds it. "Trust me running away is not the answer, you really need to tell link even if you don't tell your family at least let him in he has the right and deserves to know." Michelle explains whilst following Amelia back to her room "I will tell him it's important and I just don't understand how it happened we only slept together once we'll actually three times but it was one night" Amelia said smiling and giggling at the memory Michelle tutted and looked at her "I'm being serious though did you not use anything that's just silly I thought you was smarter than that," Amelia stared at her "I'm not that stupid I'm on the pill, okay I've missed one or two but it's not like I missed them frequently." Amelia snarked at her friend before Michelle had a chance to answer Nancy came in with Kathleen unannounced and not even bothering to knock "mom said your little friends got to go home because you've got homework to do and we want our friends over and don't want you two bothering us" Nancy said rudely "that's not fair we are studying, I'm not allowed my friend just cause you want yours here. It's not like we're even in the way we are up in my room, moms not even here anyway she's at work." Amelia told them back. "It's fine I'll go home I can see where I'm not wanted" Michelle said grabbed her stuff and went out the door "seriously you couldn't even let my friend stay until dinner, I hate you guys your so mean and I haven't ever done anything to you and you guys wonder why I keep to myself and don't want to talk to any of you, now get out of my room and leave me alone" Amelia screamed at them "wow someone's being over dramatic, what your little boyfriend dumped you already awww" Kathleen teased "that's none of your business and no he hasn't actually. I want to be eft alone actually I'm going out goodbye" Amelia said whilst grabbing her handbag rushing past her awful sisters to get out of the house she needed to see and talk to link and needed to do it now. "Where do you think your going?" Nancy said and she the front door just before Amelia went out of it "I can't be here with you bitches anymore so let me just leave" Amelia said angrily and shoved her way out the door, calling her only sister she knew she could count on.
"Addie please, I need someone to talk to but you have to promise to not tell anyone not even Derek" Amelia said as she got to her brother and sister in laws house down the street, unsurprisingly finding no one there so she called link and told him to come over it is important and they needed to chat right away.
About 15 minutes later link shows up amelia let's him in and they go up to what they all call her room, it's actually a guest room but Amelia stays there so much it's just prey much her bedroom there. "Is everything okay? You called my urgently and sounded important on the phone." Link said sort of worried sitting himself down on the butterfly bed sheets "I'm just going to come out and say it, urg you remember last month when we was here alone and what we did?" Amelia started slowly "yes baby that was great but what's it got to do with anything, are you trying to break up with me cause you know I love you right" link asked getting nervous "I'm not breaking up with you, although you might after what I tell you. I went to the school nurse cause I wanst feeling well and told her some of my symptoms and then she asked when my last period was and I couldn't remember" Amelia started "okay so you couldn't remember I'm sure you've got it down somewhere, it's not like you missed it" link said "actually I did and I won't be getting another one for a while. Link I'm pregnant and I don't know what to do." Amelia cried link put his arms around her and cuddled her the whole time she was crying and upset "hey look at me it's okay, it happens it's both our fault everything will be fine. We will go to the doctor get them to confirm and see what our option are" link said afraid but knows he's got to be strong for his girlfriend. "That's why i came here because I wanted to see Addie and talk to her about it, I've only told you and Michelle she was with me when I found out. I don't want my mom and sisters knowing yet I know what they'll be like." Amelia said terrified cuddling link back and drying her tears.
At some point they must of fallen asleep because they bit he woke up to find Amelia's sister in law Addie at home wondering why they were there, she knew Amelia must of had an argument with her sisters as she always goes there when they've had a row. "Do you guys want anything for dinner? Have you been crying your face is blotchy and red?" Addie asked Amelia as she woke up "we would love dinner thank you, yeah I've been crying it's been a difficult day, link has been great though. I really want to talk to you about some stuff but you can't tell anyone please?" Amelia pleaded "not even your mom" Addie asked "definitely not my mom, it needs to stay between us and link for the time being" Amelia said seriously "what you pregnant or something" Addie asked laughing "yes" Amelia said not joking "what you are, Amelia when did you find out." Addie says all serious "today, a couple hours ago. I haven't told anyone but link and Michelle, I need someone like you to help and talk to us about it." Amelia said "we haven't really discussed it yet just cried a lot" link stated "well guys there's 3 options you can keep it, there's adoption or abortion" Addie started Amelia and link looked at each other both knowing there is really only 1 option for them "I don't agree with abortion, I don't think I could ever go with a pregnancy then give the baby up at the end so I guess we are having a baby." Amelia said weighing the options out to addie and link "I agree, I couldn't go through my life knowing there's a kid out there that was mine but never knowing it." Link said "ok great, so we have to get you sorted with an obgyn" Addie said getting her phone out to make a few calls "Addie, if it's not weird I would like it if you was my doctor" Amelia asked "oh course, you know I wouldn't tell anyone as long as you want too that includes family." Addie states "thank you, could I stay here until I've told them and if they get angry with me" Amelia asked "of course, I'd have to check with Derek but your both our favourite so I'm sure it will be fine. You might need to tell him though as soon it will become very obvious and clear. Link your also welcome to stay now and again too." Addie says "thank you, although I might need to stay clear of Derek for a while since it is my fault we're in this situation and he might hate me for a while" link states "Derek wouldn't hate you and it's both our fault it takes two. I wouldn't let him hurt you or be mean anyway" Amelia said protective "he might be mad but I'm sure he would get over it very quickly I mean you two are making him an uncle for the first time" Addie said looked up and saw Derek standing there behind Amelia and link "what did you just say" Derek asked in a loud voice.
"Oh hey your home, Amelia has something to tell you. I'm just going to check in dinner" Addie said excusing herself so they can all talk privately, Derek sits down and looks at them both "well I'm waiting for an answer." Derek said "we are having a baby, no nobody knows and I'd appreciate it if you didn't tell them especially mom" Amelia spat out "I know what your thinking but I'm not going to leave her, I love Amelia and I'm not going to let her do this all on her own." Link says to Derek "you guys are just kids I don't understand how this happened." Derek said sadly and disappointed "I don't want you to be mad at us, accidents happen and was were careful. Please don't be angry" Amelia begged her older brother "I'm just a little disappointed in you both. I am happy you could come to us about this though and hey I'm going to be an uncle." Derek said "your okay with this all then" link asked "no but I will get there and you need all the people in your side you can get" Derek said hugging his little sister
