"Jake wake up!"
He shuffled in his sleep and snuggled closer to MY OREO.
"Five more minutes Mom" he mumbled.
I rolled my eyes at him. "Jake, we have to go"
He continued to talk which was muffled by MY OREO which makes it really inaudible. I stood up and went to the door.
"Mom! Jake isn't—What the--?"
I almost fell on my bum when I felt Jake pull me from behind while his arms around my waist which made me blush beet red. He snuggled his face to my neck and I hitched my breath as I felt him sniff my skin.
"You know, for a person who haven't taken a bath yet, you smell—"
Before he could finish his sentence, my elbow connected to his stomach which made him curl at the floor.
"Sam? What's wr—Oh, Good Moring Jake, you guys will be leaving soon so make sure you're all set" Mom poked her head to see Jake crouched over at the floor.
"Good Morning too Mrs. Wilson" He grunted out. I stuck my tongue at him and he gave me a glare.
"We'll be down in a second Mom, I'll just uh, check my stuff" I pushed Mom out of my room.
I turned to Jake only to see him sprawled out in my bed snoring. I grabbed Oreo and smashed it in his head.
"Ow!" he exclaimed. "What the heck Sam?!"
"Get your butt out of my bed, I need to check my stuffs"
He glanced at the clock beside my table. "It's still 3:30 in the morning for pete's sake!"
"Yeah, and we leave in 30 minutes, with or without you" I placed my hands on my hip. "Now get out of my bed while I still have some patience left"
He grunted out some incoherent words but followed nonetheless. I beamed at him and double checked my stuff in which he did to his as well. After a few minutes mom knocked on the door telling us that the Van was already outside.
"You kids, have fun okay? And Jake?" She turned to him. "Keep an eye on Sam will you?"
Jake grinned at me and I rolled my eyes for the nth time and the sun didn't even rise yet. "I will Mrs. Wilson"
"Alright then, off you go and Sam, stay safe okay?" I hugged my Mom.
"Yes Mom"
"Call me when you guys get there!" She said when we went it the Van.
I smiled at her and waved. We were going on this resort for three days and two nights as my parent's 18th birthday gift to me. I was really happy that they allowed me to go with my friends and without a guardian.
"So, where are these other friend of yours?" Jake asked.
"I told them that we're meeting up at my former school at 3am so I bet they're already there" He laughed at me and shook his head.
"That was Horrible Sammy" he commented. I just shrugged and continued to fiddle with my phone.
Jake is my closest friend in college, we haven't been friends for that long actually, I've only known him for two months to be exact and he happens to come over a couple of times so my Mom got comfortable with him. He's like the annoying younger brother and pain in the ass big brother at the same time.
"Oh, is that them?" Jake pointed at a couple of people standing together. I squinted my eyes to see better and I smiled when I recognized them.
"Hey guys!" I greeted them.
