reagan's pov:
jaden has managed to drag me away from my couch, which i desperately tries to stay attached to. i grabbed my notebook and put it in my bag once he convinced me to leave my apartment. we are leaving for reno tomorrow and as we agreed on, today was the day that i was going to the studio with jaden.
it's not that i wasn't grateful for the opportunity, because i was, i just wasn't sure if i would actually be able to release any on my own. would people even want to listen to my music? i mainly wrote it for myself, and kept it to myself, maybe ivy if i was feeling risky. playing my songs for bryce was the first time i actually showed anyone outside of my family something i'd written.
we walked down the street towards the studio and who else would show up but the hollywood fix. a man approached us with a camera in hand. this guy is absolutely everywhere so i'm not that surprised to see him, i just wish it wasn't now.
"jaden, reagan, hey" the guy said, stepping in front of us.
"hey" jaden and i both said.
"so what are you guys doing today?" he asked, stopping us from continuing to walk.
"uhh we're just going to the studio today" jaden said, looking around.
"oh nice bro, so a lot of people have been wondering if you and reagan are dating, can you confirm these rumors?" he asked.
"no we're just friends" i smiled awkwardly, not even knowing myself what we were.
"okay okay" he said before continuing asking jaden about his music and other random things.
the hollywood fix guy eventually left, leaving jaden and i to continue down the street. he looked over at me, smiling before looking down and shaking his head. i looked over at him, my eyebrows furrowed together.
"what?" i asked, shoving his arm.
"nothing nothing, i just... like your shirt" he smiled, trying to hide the laughter that desperately wanted to come out.
i looked down at my attire, not sure why he was smiling like he was. i was wearing a giant red machine gun kelly shirt i had gotten at the mall with ivy a couple weeks ago. the shirt was so big it looked like a dress on my, so i wore a pair of black spandex shorts under it, not that you could see them anyway. it was accompanied by my converse that jaden had insisted on letting him draw on, having the words "so what", a smiley face, and a frowny face while the other had one angel wing and a demonic looking wing. my hair was up in a pony tail, my baby hairs refusing to stay back so they just fell down my face.
"you did this when you picked me up too, do i look bad?" i asked, pausing on the street.
"you look wonderful angel" he said, gripping my shoulders before planting a kiss on my forehead. "you'll see okay? it's nothing bad"
i continued to walk with jaden until we approached a big ass building. jade opened the door for me, and lead me throughout the building until we came to a door.
"ready?" he asked, a grin on his face.
i nodded and jaden opened the door, my eyes immediately widening.
"rea this is-" jaden started, beginning to introduce me to a tall man covered in tattoos that i recognized the second i walked through the door.
"travis barker" i said, cutting jaden off. "i'm reagan gonzalez, huge fan" i said, shaking travis' hand.
