QUICK NOTE: I wrote this when I was a bit younger, and um- it's extremely cringeworthy, so good luck if you're reading it hahahhahahhhahahahhahahhahahhahahhasewfjhefds

Darkness.

I run. I am running. I don't look at my feet, I keep running and see him on the ground.

I can't see anything. I can't focus.

I can see Aaron Burr running away though, And looking terrified.

''Alex, can you hear me?''

I get down on the ground next to his body.

Tears.

Anger.

Sadness.

Sorrow.

Screaming.

Whining.

''Alexander! Please wake up, please don't leave me not now, please Alex- ALEX!''

I touch his face, he feels cold. he is struggling to keep his eyes open. Alex dammit open your eyes..

''Please.. PLEASE!'', I sob. I cannot stop crying. I am in pain.

Silence. You can hear people crying silently. Especially me.

''Betsey..''

''Yes Alexander, stay please, you need to stay for me, there is so much you haven't done, you need to stay for me, please..''

''I'm so sorry... for everything..'', My dear husband said to me so sadly.

''I love you so much'', He told me.

I lay my head on his bloody chest. I keep wailing, Angelica, who is beside me, takes my hand.

This was one of the worst moments in my life.

My sister, Peggy had died, My father had died, My eldest son Philip passed the same way Alexander did and now my husband had died. My husband had an affair- Now now Elizabeth, Don't explain the whole story.
