"Oh, c'mon Vix! Kakatapos lang ng midterm, magpapetiks naman tayo!"

"What's petiks?"

"Jusme, lumabas ka naman kasi minsan ng bahay mo nang may matutunan ka naman."

"What's petiks?" I asked again.

"Mag enjoy! Ganoon!"

I shook my head.

"Arrggg!"

Nagpagulong-gulong siya sa kama ko at pinaghahampas ako ng unan. Kanina pa niya ako pinipilit na sumama sa kanya sa birthday ng kaibigan niya. Meh, why would I come to her friend's party? I thought I'm her only friend! Magseselos lang ako kaya hindi ako sasama.

"You have a lot of friends. Go invite them."

I stood up and went to my table. I did my skin care routine, not minding her throwing my pillows and stuff toys on the floor. Obviously she's having her tantrums at alam kong hindi siya titigil hangga't hindi ako sasama. Gosh, bakit ba siya baliw?

"I'm off to sleep now Lore. I'm on my pajamas and I already did my skin care. Dapat kasi sinabihan mo ako kahapon pa. You're rushing me!"

She looked at me with those pitiful eyes. "Please?"

Bumuntong-hininga ako ng ilang beses at tinapon sa kanya ang isang unan. "What's the theme?"

"Yay!" She ran towards me and hugged me. "Wala. Inuman lang naman iyon sa sarili niyang bar."

I rolled my eyes. "Fine. Fix my bed."

I bolted towards my walk-in closet and chose my denim white shorts and oversized knitted red longsleeve na sa sobrang luwang ay nakikita ang kaliwang balikat ko. I partnered it with my red Serra leather heels. Tinali ko ang mahaba kong buhok into a messy bun at sinadyang mag-iwan ng maalon na baby hair sa mukha. I didn't bother to wear make up, basically pupunta ako sa bar party with my bare face.

Lumabas ako at kinuha ang phone ko sa kama.

"Let's go."

"No make-up?"

"Nah, iinom lang ako at uuwi din agad."

"You look even pretty without make-ups."

Lore is wearing a low-waist ripped jeans partnered a silver bralette. What makes it weird is her fur coat. Normally, if you walk in these clothes, it's sort of a big deal. I mean who walks in the city streets, in the middle of the night, over dressed and with a fur coat? Apparently the city of Lennocs is the city of fashion. You can even walk in those hilarious over laced dresses like in Victoria Secret's fashion show or merely wearing a bra and a skimpy skirt and no one will judge you at all.

The bar is near our hamlet kaya naglakad lang kami palabas. The busy street and night life, along with the loud music and smoke from food bazaar welcomed us right away. It's all over the metropolis.

You can compare this to the night market of Almante, but 10 times wider. If Almante is the city of innovation and technology, Lennocs is the city of fashion and fun.
