Hey guys, my name's Kelsie! This is my first fanfiction I've ever written, so tell me how you like it. I may do this by chapters, but knowing me, I'll get carried away and just do huge sections of the story at a time. I'm expecting to get maybe 100 reads at the most, but if it went over that, it'd be great. Also, follow me on Twitter @larryliloniam. By the way, this will get a ton more interesting. This was chapter was just used to introduce the main characters and the situation and story line and all that good stuff. Thanks guys, enjoy reading! :)
Chapter 1:
I typed a tweet on my phone as Rani, my best friend was curling the final layer of my long, medium brown hair. "Done." Rani announced, setting the curling iron on the bathroom counter. I glanced up as she took out all the hair clips. The soft curls fell perfectly around my face. I actually thought I looked... beautiful. "Thank you, Rani. I love it." I curl my hair all the time, but Rani has some special touch that just makes it look so natural and perfect. "No problem, El. Anytime."
I slipped on my big sweater from Forever 21 that had a British flag printed on it. I slipped on blue jeans and my red vans. My outfit went together perfectly. I thought it was appropriate for a One Direction concert. I wouldn't dare wear a One Direction shirt to a concert. I did want something that represented them in my outfit, though. "Is this cute?" Rani asked, popping her head out of the bathroom. She took a step out to reveal her in a "Keep Calm and be a Directioner" shirt, red skinny jeans, and white converse. Her outfit matched perfectly, but I frowned at her shirt. "The shirt... really?" "What?" She asked, obviously not seeing anything wrong with her shirt. "I don't know... It's just... carrot-y." I responded, biting my lip. "Carrot-y? What do you mean?" Rani asked, a look of hurt in her eyes. I sighed. "Nevermind. It's cute." She smiled sheepishly, and then walked back into the bathroom. It wasn't cute. It wasn't close to cute. That's something a croc-wearing 11 year old would wear. I shrugged it off though, accepting the fact that she's always been the person to wear cheesy stuff too young for her age.
Lilly, Rani and I were all best friends. Lilly wasn't a huge fan of One Direction, while Rani and I were insane about them. That's why I'm taking Rani. Lilly had been my best friend for four years now, and had always been mature for her age. Plus, she was drop dead gorgeous and had guys crawling all over her. I got plenty of attention from guys, too. Not as much as Lilly, but everytime I went out, I always got stares. Rani was pretty, but as I said, she looked and more like an 11 year old than an almost 16 year old.
"You almost ready?" I asked Rani through the bathroom door. I heard the sink water shut off and her spit into the sink. "Yep!" She replied, stepping out of the bathroom. She had straightened her short, black hair that fell just above her shoulders. She had back eyeliner surronding her eyes, making her brown eyes pop out. "Your makeup is pretty." I told her. She smiled. "Thanks, yours is too!" I went to look in the mirror and admired my makeup. My light foundation covered my face, making it look airbrushed and almost perfect, while still looking natural. The medecine I'd gotten at the dermatoliogist was working very well, I hadn't broken out in weeks. My eyes had a light golden shimmry eye shadow swept acrossed my lid and heavy mascara extending my already long eye lashes. I ran my hand through my curled hair, giving it a natural, touseled look I loved. I sprayed a small amount of hairspray, sprayed plenty of vanilla scented perfume, and exited my bedroom, Rani following behind.
After grabbing my car keys, the tickets, two bottles of water, and a hundred dollars, we left the apartment and went down to the parking lot. Excitement was buzzing inside of me. The five boys that have changed my life forever were about to be in the same building as me. Plus, it was extra exciting, knowing this was the first Take Me Home tour and first concert they'd had in a long time. The concert was at the Mohegan Sun. My parents had gotten me tickets for my sweet 16. They wern't the best tickets, because at the time, both of my parents were out of work and my 6 year old brother had just had surgery on his broken leg. I wasn't complaining about where my tickets were, at least I had tickets. I quickly updated everyone on my One Direction fan Twitter account and told them I was on the way to the arena. I had over 12,000 followers and was only following a little over 200. I'd had this Twitter for over a year now and was followed by Zayn, Harry, and Liam. Harry responded to one of my Tweets once. I had asked him how he was doing, and he responded, putting a smiley face and a "xx" at the end. I remember flipping backwards in my chair and screaming as loud as I could. My parents ran in the room to see what was happening, and then laughed at me when I told them Harry had noticed me.
