Chapter 19

Lavender POV

The ceremony was beautiful, it was held next to the lake and the entire venue was decorated with fresh flowers and lace. We watched them exchange mating vowels and then proceeded to the reception tent. As we walked in the music was playing, the bar was in full swing, and the grand buffet was amazing. We got to our head table and before I could sit down Jax sat me on his lap. He put his arm around my waist and placed his hand on my stomach. With the announcement of our pup circling around, I noticed that the wolves were standing clear. A pregnant werewolf is was nothing to mess with, especially if she was a Luna. I stayed close to Jax all night, he was not letting me out of sight. At the end of celebrations Rollo was carried to his room and Jade just laughed knowing very well this was who he was.

For the past three months I spent my time nesting. Putting together our new den for when our new pup makes its way into the world. As a werewolf, females are only pregnant for three months before they are ready to give birth. An boy was I ready to pop, I could swear I was carrying more than one. To help things move along I decided I would go to the lake studio and do some ballet. Even though I wasn't supposed to be on pointe, I still occasionally would hold the barre and practiced. As warmed up my body and played swain lake, I began to feel different. I felt as though someone was watching me. I look towards the boat docks and noticed slight moment. I then drew in a scent that was unrecognizable. I quickly walked over to the panic button that alerted the pack house. I suddenly saw them 5 wolves that were not of my pack and clearly were not friendly. I pressed the button to trigger the alarm. The wolves then proceeded to leap into the studio and I then transformed into my wolf. I wasn't up for a fight in my condition, being that I was due any day. I decided to run into the woods and of course they followed. Howling in excitement at the thought of the chase and probably killing me. I kept running, dodging logs, branches and debris. I then came to a holt, I was cornered between a cliff, the lakeside and my attackers. Ink had not choice I began to show dominance and stand my ground. One of the attacks went into his human form. "Don't worry Luna, we will make sure we each get a turn". Then let out loud growl threatening them with death. "Nothing personal, your pack attacked the BHP Alpha, so we'll attack what yours loves the most". I quickly fill up with rage, I will not be some female victim. I am a Luna and I demand respect. I felt my electricity built up within a split second and I felt myself grow to the size of a bear. A giant wolf, commanding them to leave. Just as two of them jumped towards me I able to duck under one and grab hold of the other snapping his throat closed for good. I dug my paws into the soil ready for the rest, but then Jessie comes leaping through the brush and attacked. Right after him I saw my mate jumped onto the wolf who was talking and Jax ripped his head clean off. Rollo then finished the other two with Jax and Jessie's help. I then laid down and began to feel them, contractions. I howled in pain, my eyes glowing bright and my human form wanted to emerge. I couldn't transform yet, it wasn't safe to give birth. I then stared to lightly jog back to the pack house. Jax and Rollo were helping my wolf move through the woods. Jax instructed Jessie to go back to the pack house as fast as he could and let them know what happened. I stopped about a mile from the house, I couldn't hold myself in wolf form any longer. I was going to have this baby. I transformed into my human form, naked and now cold. Jax and Rollo then curled up under my arms to help me walk and keep me warm with their wolf form. We made it the edge of the pack house gardens and Jax transitioned into his human form and carried me inside. The healers has set up a birthing area in our den room. An before I could take another breath I howled out an earth shatter sound. It was as if thunder had bellowed from my chest. The whole pack house shook of fear as my mind linked to every pack member and sent an electric jolt through them.
I felt my strength inside me telling me it was almost time to push. I gripped the padding I was laying on, my back curled forward and my hips began to spread. I suddenly felt Jax sitting behind me, supporting my weight on his chest. I then grabbed his legs and pushed, I thought I was going to fucking die or pass out from the sheer pain.
"One". Said the healer.
"What?!!" I responded.
" you have another one".
I continued to push and howl, our entire pack was anxious with the amount of time and pain their Luna was facing. My werewolf powers would heal me every time I ripped or tore. Well into the night I was going through labor, until sunrise. It was finally over, 24 hours of labor and behold, triplets. Two handsome boys and one beautiful girl. I was completely exhausted and so was Jax, he never let my side. The healers set up the baby pallets next to us and continued to help care for them. I was able to feed them and love on them. When they all fell asleep, I quickly followed.

Jaxon POV

It's been two weeks since the arrival of my triplets. I still cannot believe how incredibly amazing my mate, my Luna, my wife is. She's been healing back to her healthy strong self. It's amazing how just looking at her you wouldn't know she just had triplets except for her massive chest size and I'm not complaining one bit. We have kept the babies under lock and key only letting immediate family see them. I wasn't going to introduce them just yet, I wanted to make sure the BHP was taken care of. While Lav, Hazel and Jade spent two weeks carrying for the pups. Cedar, Rollo, and I along with 100 pack members invaded the BHP. We tore through their territory. Two weeks of war, we were not going to allow their pack to survive. They went after my mate and unborn pups, I was out for blood. We kept the mates out of the loop this time. This was pack business and no one fucks with our way of life.
