I smacked my lips as my daily traffic bound car concert was interrupted by a phone call from a blocked number, raising my eyebrow a bit I pressed the button on the side of the steering wheel answering the call.
"Hel-" I said before being cut off by a familiar voice. "What's up with you?" Chasity asked, a firmness in her tone. I stammered a bit, stumbling over my words before being mocked by Chasity. "Uh-uh-uh what? Spit it out bitch, what's your problem?" I swallowed hard before finally getting my words out. "What you mea-" "You know exactly what I mean. You've been gone for 5 months. Every time I call you, message you, you dub me. Like you're running from me or something." She was right, I was avoiding her, I was avoiding everybody from my past. "Look Chas, I can't do this right now, can I call you back? I promise I will this ti-." Before I could finish my sentence, Chasity had hung up in my face.
I sighed resting my head on the steering wheel. Chasity had every right to be upset. Ever since I moved to LA with Andre, my life hasn't been my own. See, Andre's a professional basketball player for the Los Angeles Lakers. I met him 3 years ago on a cruise to the Bahamas. It was love at first sight, so he says. The moment he laid eyes on me, he had to have me, so he says. Things have changed though, he hasn't been around much, but what he lacks in the physical sense he makes up for it in gifts.
I finally got through that nasty ass traffic, I was a little late but I knew Dre wasn't home, it was off season but they still had practice and conditioning. I stepped out of my all white G Wagon he got me for my birthday. It was to match his, he took match ya nigga's fly to the next level. Always. I put in the code to unlock the door. I was living in my dream home, in the Hollywood Hills with a great city view, big ass pool, 9 bedroom, 9 baths. My life was perfect... but who knew my fairytale was gonna be turned upside down so quickly.
