Another few weeks past, a few weeks full of experiments, writing and taking care of the other girls for the alpha of their group "This is tiring" she thought while writing the last chemical for the current formula she was working on, she mixed the chemicals together creating another substance once she put it in a vial she tested it out
Another fail.
The girl sighed and ruffled her hair then checked the time "I should probably pick up the others now so we can all rest before fighting off some rogue's" she thought then fixed her stuff and went to the shower in the lab.
After showering she grabbed her stuff and headed to her car she had a weird feeling but shrugged it off as she went to the Off the record building to pick up the others "Y/n unnie!" someone suddenly shouted the alpha turned her head to direction the voice came from and spotted the very loud duck.
"Yah unnie why are you so loud?" the hybrid girl said while the rest just chuckled while walking to the car.
"Hows the cure so far?" Minju asked, the hybrid just sighed and shook her head making everyone else sigh as well as they already knew i was another fail.
"When will we ever find the right chemicals and the right mixture forhis formula" the girls all thought at the same time and sighed.
"You guys wanna know something scary" Y/n asked and the girls all looked at her confused before the hybrid continued "The fact that were all crazy in synch".
"Thats not scary...thats amazingly scary" Nako said in a matter of a fact tone.
"She has a point" Hitomi said.
"Whipped" Y/n said and chuckled along with the rest of the girls.
"Oh like you all aren't whipped for someone else" Nako deadpanned making the care silent.
"Sorry i'm not included" Y/n said and showed a peace sign to the short vampire in the backseat them smirked at mirror.
"Shut up this is a couples talk not singles" Nako said.
Y/n's jaw dropped at that sentence and she shut up immediately after that making the rest of the girls chuckle at their alpha that was currently driving "We got somone who can roast the alpha now" Hitomi said.
"She can roast me only because she's a vampire you wolves can't though" Y/n said while taking a turn and parking the car as they arrived at a restaurant.
"Unnie we can't be caught drinking blood" Wonyoung said as she looked at the place they were at.
"This isn't even a restaurant for humans this is for people like us" Y/n said while turning off the engine of her car and getting out of it.
The others eyed the restaurant suspiciously until one by one they got out the car and went to the direction their alpha went "Ms. Park your here!" a waiter said cheerfully.
"Stop acting like that when you know me too well Lee Yujeong" the hybrid said to the waitress while giving her a high five. (A/n: i'm missing all the pd48 contestants rn :((()
"Ok, ok sorry anyways VIP reservation right?" the girl named Yujeong asked and Y/n nodded and she led them to the VIP room.
"Hey thanks for this by the way Yujeong" Y/n said and smiled at the girl.
"No problem i'll go grab the menus now" Yujeong said and left the room.
"You two seem pretty close are you two childhood friends?" Sakura asked.
"Enemies actually until after the Donghyun incident we started becoming closer although she's a year younger than me i'm alright with it she's a great friend to be around with" Y/n answered.
"Yah are you alright you seem tired" Y/n said while grabbing the things in Yujeong's hands.
"I'm alright unnie don't worry" Yujeong said and smiled.
"Yah go rest i know my way around this restaurant anyways so i'll handle it" Y/n said while ruffling the younger girls hair.
"Unnie my boss might get mad" Yujeong said and pouted making Y/n pinch her pouting lips a bit and say "Don't use that pout on me Lee Yujeong".
"Go rest, you can talk to the girls if you want plus i highly doubt your boss will get mad your supposed to be on break right now Yujeong-ah" Y/n said and went to the kitchen.
"So you and Y/n were enemies before" Hyewon asked trying to start a conversation.
"Ah yeah me and unnie weren't on good terms due to me being jealous towards her cause she was like the perfect girl back in elementary just she didn't have any friends, then i found out she was nearly raped by that b**** Guanlin and felt bad for her so i started talking to her and telling her why i hated her then slowly i became her first ever friend but i slowly lost contact with her when i became a trainee under CNC and Cube" Yujeong said and sighed then looked at everyone in the table "I'm glad unnie found some new friends though" she continued and smiled at the girls.
"What was Y/n like back then?" Wonyoung asked curiously as Yujeong started to explain what her unnie was like back then by time Y/n came back to the table with everyone's favorites "UNNIE DID YOU JUST-" Yujeong said and was about to get up bu Y/n calmed her down.
"Relax i bought these ingredients and let the chefs cook them since well i'm lazy to cook today" Y/n said earning a smack from the younger girl.
"UNNIE YOU STILL MADE THE CHEFS COOK I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU!" Yujeong said.
"Hey i'm paying them double plus the ingredients i got are the ones that is needed for the stuff on the menu" Y/n said while rubbing her head.
"Are you sure your friends or are you a couple?" Yena asked with a smirk.
"I'm taken/She's taken" both the girls said at the same time making Yena shut up immediately.
"Dumb duck" Y/n mumbled making the rest chuckle.
"Yujeong-ah you should eat with us aswell" Y/n said and smiled at the younger girl.
"Unnie i don't think i-" Yujeong said but got cutted off by Y/n "Eat i already got permissiin from Kaeun unnie anyways don't worry".
The younger was hesitant at first until the alpha put one of the youongers favorite's on her plate making her dig in straight away "Knew you couldn't resist your favorite" Y/n said and chuckled.
After eating and catching up the group had to leave to prepare to fight as well as Yujeong and the other staff in the restaurant after getting ready to leave and close the restaurant Yujeong tapped the older girls shoulder, the hybrid looked at her confused giving her the cue to speak "Unnie your part of the experiments to help find the cure right?" and the girl just nodded.
"Unnie please find the cure quickly" Yujeong said in a desperate tone catching the alpha by surprise.
"I wanna go back to normal unnie please find it quickly" Yujeong said and looked at the girl with tears in her eyes.
"Yujeong i promise i will do everything in my power to find the cure" Y/n said and hugged the younger girl who was already crying.
They stayed like that for a few minutes before they both pulled away "Don't cry it doesn't suit you" Y/n said as an attempt to make the younger smile which worked making her sigh in relief.
"Don't worry ok? I'll find the cure no matter what" Y/n said they both smiled at each other before parting ways.
The other 12 girls saw their interaction and teased the hybrid but she didn't mind it as only one thing was on her head the whole ride back "I will find the cure if its the last thing i do".
