The Light in Darkness

Prologue

A long time ago in a universe very similar to our universe, a shower of meteors rained upon a planet called Vaklok and caused a surge of of power waves everywhere. People thought nothing of it when not much damage occurred and no one was really different until a child was born with strange abilities. This child was able to control water and its many forms. More children around the world started having the same occurrence but could control different things like fire or wind.

This people are what we call Elementalists and they changed humanity forever. There are 6 different elements that these people could control which were fire, water, earth, air, darkness, and light. No one ever had more than one until a new group of people were discovered.

These people were the All Elementalists, a group of 6 who wielded all elements but were each more proficient with at least one of them. People believed them to be gods who were their true rulers and treated them like royalty giving them anything they wanted. 

Humanity continued to thrive especially with help from these gods until one day a monster who planned to destroy all of humanity appeared. The Elementalists and the All Elementalists fought back but almost all of humanity had perished and the world was left in ruin by the monster's rampage so the All Elementalists made a choice and created a new Vaklok which was named Elementia. A All Elementalist was sacrificed to create this new world so the gods left the people to make their own decisions and to not mettle with humans. Everyone in this new world was born with elemental powers except for some unlucky few born powerless. 

All the Elementalists lived in peace until the Powerless and Darkness Elementalists fought against everyone other than them. The other Elementalists banded together to stop them and after the end of this conflict, The Darkness and the Powerless were given harsh discrimination and hatred alongside a bunch of unfair laws to prevent another conflict. Due to the Light Elementalists great leadership during the fights, they were treated like royalty and one of them was appointed as Emperor over all Elementalists and a new age of humanity began.
