FUN FACTS

I had real fun thinking about my OC's name since I want it to have a true to life vibe than my previous ideas that are... honestly, cringe worthy. Therefore, I did a little research and came up with Hachiman Mizuki.

•Mizuki Although the Japanese word for “moon” is usually pronounced tsuki, its initial consonant blend gets softened in the name Mizuki, which can mean “beautiful moon” (美月)

•Hachiman, one of the most popular Shintō deities of Japan; the patron deity of the Minamoto clan and of warriors in general; often referred to as the god of war (八幡)

As promised, I took my time and drew my OC traditionally. Her hair color is as white as snow, but when she activates her quirk, it will turn pink— almost red. It is also noticeable that when she activates her quirk² a pair of horns will materialize on her forehead. Her eye color is Turquoise, and upon quirk activation her irises will turn bloody red, while her sclera will turn pitch black. (Yes I have a thing with ZeroTwo and ghoul eyes...)

This is how I imagine the hero costume of Mizuki. Just a simple pitch black bodysuit (black widow vibe), with an opening on the back part that will be used for her quirk. You can also notice the kanji on her bare back 烕 that means "to destroy"

•The inspiration of the quirk Demon is from the anime Soul Eater, Deadman Wonderland and Tokyo Ghoul. It activates when she transforms into a demon like creature, starting with the horns on her forehead growing as her nails increasing in size making it look sharper that can be used to slash both of your arms and lower back to activate the main function of your quirk which is to control blood.

The picture above of Senji (deadman wonderland) and Medusa (soul eater) are my basis on how your quirk looks when you slash either your arms or your lower back.

There are other functions of demon, but will be soon revealed along the way.

•In the prologue, Katsuki called Mizuki gaijin, that basically means "outsider" (it is also a Japanese word for foreigners and/or non-Japanese national) for the reason that her mom is half english and her family lived in England until both parents died and was adopted by some local hero. (Of course, Katsuki doesn't know that)

•Her late father's name was Hachiman Kurayami (Kurayami means darkness) a Japanese man with tall and bulky figure with dark hair and light brown eyes who manifested a quirk called Blood Manipulation that lets him manipulate his blood when injured/cut. While her late mother's maiden name was Emily Taylor who manifested a quirk called Alteration that can make her "alter" things around her, even herself (Rumors back then says that she doesn't remember how she originally looked like because of constantly using her quirk by altering her looks resulting to a major flaw she couldn't fix (X-Men Mystique vibe))
-just a little backstory for the fam since they won't have major appearances on the story.
