Chapter 2

On the way to school dad tried having a conversation with me about trying to make some friends and not to talk to any boys. It was the same talk he always gave me every time I was starting at a new school. After listening to him for about five minutes I finally zoned out an just started out the window watching as we passed all the little shops that were in the main area of Whitting Hill.

"Care are you even listening to me?" Dad questioned.

Of course I wasn't but that doesn't mean he has to know plus I have heard this same speech a million times before so it is not like I can't just tell him exactly what he said. However that is the exact opposite of what I did.

"Dad honestly no I wasn't. You give me the same speech every time I start at a new school and today I just don't want to hear it. I already know that you want to make friends, study hard, and do not no matter what get involved with a guy."

After the truth came out my dad just sat there in shock and I felt really bad about saying it to begin with. It was the first time I had every told him that I was tired of something he did.

"I'm sorry Care. I didn't know that me begin over protective was bothering you." Dad rudely stated.

" No I'm sorry. I know you just want to help me get through school without any problems. I should have just nice asked you to maybe be a less protective instead of being a jerk about it."

After apologizing I felt so much better an was gals because we had also finally arrived at my new school.

"Care do you want me to park and come in with you to make sure you everything is set okay and you can find your first class." he asked finally acting like the father she loves again.

I told him no that I had done this before and that he didn't need to worry. He just replied back okay and said he loves me an would pick me up after school. after I told him I loved him to I got out the car and prepared to face my first day of school.
