* Start of Ash's POV *

Ash: *sound asleep*
Delia: Ash Ketchum! Are you still asleep!!
Ash: Ahhh mom! Wait your home...
Delia: Yeah, now get your butt of the bed it's 7:45, school starts in 15 minutes
Ash: Yeah yeah,
*Ash then proceeds to get out of bed, brush his teeth and does whatever is considered to be a normal thing in the morning*
TIME SKIP

We now see Ash at the front of the school hanging out with his friend group after barely making it before the bell.
Ash: Phwe I actually made it!
Gary: An't nobody except that Ashy-boy
Ash: Can it Oak Tree
Gary: Don't call me that
Ash: Don't call my Ashy-boy
Gary: No can do Ashy
Ash: Call me that again and I'll get Pikachu to thunderbolt you
Gary: Please, anything but that. Speaking of which, Where is that yellow rat?
Ash: he's at the Pokémon center after an intense battle
Gary: Whoa, and he's in the Pokémon center thanks to that, I'm assuming you lost, correct?
Ash: Nope!! We won, Pikachu beat the entire team of a trainer himself!
Gary: Impressive, but I probably could of beat that trainer easier
Ash: sure dude...
Misty: Hey!! Did you forget we were here!!
Ash: As a matter of fact yes (still as ill-tempered as ever)
Paul: Whatever, now lets get to class. I don't want to be late because of you brats
Gary: Bull crap! You just don't want to get yelled at by Professor Birch
Paul: That's part of the reason, yes
Drew: Yep, these idiots are my friends
May: You counting your self as one their Drew?
Ash and Gary: Ohhhh
Drew: M-May how could you
May: Sorry Drew, I cant resist a good burn
Ash: I'm actually with Paul on this one, we're wasting time right now
*End of Ash's POV*

*Start of Serena's POV*
Serena: Here we go again, let's just get this day over with already

*Serena then starts to walk the school halls with her head down and her old worn out dress brushing against the floor, she couldn't see what was in-front Of her nor the students that we're looking at her with disgust. But she could very clearly hear the what the other students were mumbling to each other*

Random girl 1: Eww look at those disgusting clothes, how do you live with those
Random girl 2: Tell me about it
Random boy 1: Wait isn't she the girl wh-
Random boy 2: Quiet Jimmy, your not supposed to talk about that.
Serena however, after hearing these claims thought nothing of it as she was used to this lifestyle
Serena: (say all the crap things you want, I don't care, I've got my Pokémon and that's all I need)
Serena, still with her head down unknowingly began inching closer and closer to a specific unsuspecting boy until...
BANG!!
All the books in Serena's hands fell out. But she didn't try to try to pick her fallen items up because she thought the person that ran into her did it on purpose.

To her surprise she then heard apologetic cry by the boy who ran into her
Ash: I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to run into you like that
Serena: Y-you didn't mean to
Ash: Of course I didn't mean to, now let me help you clean up the chaos I caused
Serena: (he's being nice to me, he's being nice to ME, why? Forget about it Serena, he probably doesn't even know who you are)
Ash: Hello... (that's weird, she's just standing their)
Serena: Hmm, oh sorry
Ash: It's okay, here is your stuff, sorry again, umm...
what's your name again?
Serena: (I was right he doesn't know about me) My name is none of your business kid!!
*Serena then begins to storm of again with her head down*
Ash: Why'd she get mad at me all of a sudden? I said sorry didn't I? Was it something I said? Oh well, I'm bound to run into her again at some point.
