'Poke'
'Poke'
"Daaaaaaaisy."
'Poke '
"Wake uuuup."
And just like that I was brought back to hell on earth.
Or as Mr Worth likes to call it 'fourth period chemistry class'. I had personally always preferred my description of this evil class.
Truth be told I was a bit of a nerd. Who am I kidding, I was more than a bit, but that didn't mean I actually had to 'like' school.
"Shut up Jesse let me sleep." I mumbled, eyes half closed.
"But it's the end of class and it's lunch and I'm really hungry and Mr Worth set an essay on a Friday, how evil is that? Anyway I am completely done with today....."
It was at this point I decided to tune out of Jesses mindless chatter. It's always better to let her vent out her frustrations herself. Despite her shy exterior, once see started talking, no one on heaven or earth could shut her up.
Rant finished, we both got up and headed to the cafeteria.
"Don't look now but Finn Taylor is staring at your back." Jesse mumbled.
Unlike most girls i lacked the ability to feel a hot guys gaze without even looking in the guys direction.
Oh how I wished for that super power.
If you didn't know, Finn Taylor like a gift sent from god.
With his chestnut hair, piercing green eyes and brilliantly defined jawline he was a sight for sore eyes.
Literally any girl that had eyes had a crush on him since he moved from upstate New York.
And the thought he was looking at me, it was unthinkable.
So without further hesitation I grabbed Jesses wrist and made a break towards the cafeteria.
~~~
"Do you know what I don't get though? How she fits that skirt."
"It honestly looks like it could fit an actual Barbie doll."
"All that purple-ness, it makes me want to puke."
You can say that again
Wedged between my two best friends, Lydia and Jesse, I preferred to listen to their gossip than add to it.
I was usually quiet and non judgmental, the peacekeeper.
But then again, Delilah Rhodes and her purple pencil skirt was one of my favorite topics.
Delilah was perfect, in a sense. Deep chocolate eyes, pin straight blonde hair, obnoxious giggle and bam! She had the school wrapped around her finger.
And apparently Finns lap was her throne.
And right in front of my table too.
Now I hate her with any good looking guy as much as the next hormonal and jealous teenage girl, but the fact it was Finn,
it got my blood boiling faster than fire.
"Can we just leave now? I swear i can hear cackling from here." I grumbled.
Understanding my hatred for a certain queen bee, we stood from the table and began to leave the cafeteria.
Locked on the sight of the door, I failed to see my up coming destruction.
A suspiciously Delilah blonde, hair extension.
How it got there, I don't know, but before I knew it I felt a sharp pain in my head and I was met with a wall of darkness.
