Ella's POV
A boy named Justin and Nearly Headless Nick were "petrified." More students are suspicious of me but it is what it is. The snake I have named Sunshine because it feels ironic. Ugh, wait am I saying I sound like my parents.

There have been weird things happening in school though, honestly, you would think the Golden trio is the cause since they have been sketchy almost all year but I'll just watch from the shadows.

Reyna hasn't been talking to me for a few weeks she may have only been here to talk to me when I was lonely.

The Christmas holidays are coming up and Dumbledore said he was gonna move me then since most people are leaving.

————————2 Days before Christmas——
-Dumbledore's office

"Ella are you ready to move to the Gryffindor Tower and attend classes with them," Dumbledore asks
"I'm ready it seems very exciting and it will help me make more friends," I say cheerfully
"Let's get a move on shall we." He responds

I exit Dumbledore's office and start going to my room. I pass many corridors and see maybe 2 students in all. That means a quiet holiday. I smile to myself. I open the door to my room and most of my stuff is packed up. I cast Wingardium Leviosa and the rest of my stuff float into a chest. I then use Leviosa to float the chest. I look around the room one last time and walk out. I head straight to Dumbledore's office with my curls bouncing on my shoulders. "Lemon drops," I say softly.

"Sir I'm ready," I shout.
"Alright, Professor McGonagall will escort you to the tower," Dumbledore said without looking up
"Let's go now," a voice says behind me. I turn and see McGonagall.
"Okay Professor," I say. I leave the office with McGonagall and follow her to the Gryffindor Tower.
"Here we are I will follow you and tell the other students." She says. I follow her into the tower.
The red in this common room is overbearing and too much. It doesn't bring back good memories. From the corner of my eye, I can see McGonagall stare at me. "Let's move on to your dorm." She said hastily.

(Dormitory)

We go up the stairs to the girls' dormitory and I see Hermione studying on her bed. She doesn't notice us at first.
"Ms. Granger I hope you read the letter Headmaster Dumbledore sent you," McGonagall said. Hermione looked up at us with a confused face and she started to look in between her textbooks, McGonagall, and I. "I'm sorry Professor but I've been studying and researching so much I didn't see any letter." Hermione said while getting up and grabbing her wand. "That's alright we should have known that the letter would have gotten lost," McGonagall assured her. "Accio letter, "Hermione said as she pointed her wand at a stack of papers. Then a scrolled up letter cam out he the papers zooming to Hermione's hand. She then opened it and read it silently. It was actually very awkward because McGonagall and I are standing in the doorway. You could tell that Hermione read the letter multiple times.

"Ella's bed is on your left in between the door and the window," Hermione said as she walked back to her bed. "Alright, Ella I'll leave you guys to unpack, and don't forget to come down for dinner," McGonagall says as she walks out. Now it's just Hermione and me. I walk to my bed and start unpacking, I try to do it quietly as to not disturb Hermione.

In truth, something has been bugging me about Hermione, and now is probably a good time to ask her. "Um, Hermione I have a question for you," I say mentally hitting my head. "Is it about work?" Hermione looks up from her books. "No, my question is why aren't you in Ravenclaw?" I say. My question stopped Hermione in her track and she looked up looking me in my eyes and stared at me for I few seconds. "I'm not sure but the Sorting hat must have had a reason," Hermione said and went back to her work. I left her alone for the rest of the time while I was unpacking. Once I finished I left to find Ruby.
