Run. Keep running. Don't look back. Ignore all the sounds, ignore the running footsteps behind you. Ignore the wind rustling through the trees of the forest as you run. Just run.
You see a house. Run faster. Run even faster. You arrive at the half broken, wooden house. You close the door behind you. Fear shivering within your body makes you want to cry, but you have to stay strong. You then see a light at the end of the corridor. You hope that someone will be there to help you. You walk towards the light when the door behind you slams open. And then you wake up.
You open your eyes wide open, scared, in fear, that someone will get you. But you are alone. Always alone. You come out of your bed and you open your curtains. The sun is rising, and it blinds you. You look at the time and you see it is 6:59 AM. Every morning is the same. Every day is the same. You have that dream every day, and you still wake up scared, in fear, that someone will get you. And every morning, you wake up at exact the same time. 6:59 AM. Today everyone is off from school, but you have to work instead. You work at a small café at a small library in town. Sometimes you work in the library itself when someone is ill, or has a day off. Probably today too, because you are not the only one from your school working there, and they are probably out of town, as there is nothing to do here. You look into the mirror. You couldn't have been more boring. You are a 17 year old girl with brown hair that stops at your shoulders. You have dry, thin lips, and grey eyes. While putting your clothes on you hear shouting on the corridor. You live with other students in this old, wooden, half broken house. You have the cheapest room of all, as you can't afford a slightly bigger room. You go out of your room and go to the kitchen to get some toast. There is one toast left so you take that. Nothing on it, no butter, no jam, just toast. You then look at the clock. 7:30 AM. In a hurry you go to your work. As you arrive and want to put your apron on, the library manager tells you that you have to work in the library today. Thought so. You get your list that says what you have to do and you get to work. Till 10 AM you have to put the books back on the shelves after they have been brought back from being taken home. It is only a small library so that is okay. After 10 AM you have to take the reservations, write down which books have been taken by whom, and help if someone needs help at the desk. Barely anybody is in the library, so you decide to get a drink. You get some orange juice from the café in the library and you go back to the desk. There is someone waiting there. Great. "What can I help you with?" You ask. You look at the person in front of you. A boy. Or young male. 19? 20? He has brown hair, slightly tanned skin, and also grey eyes. He puts a book on the desk. A big, brown, dusty book. As he puts it on the desk a lot of dust is released, and you have to cough. "I would like to lend this book." He says.
