Ronin's POV
The rays of sunlight filtered through my windows when my eyes opened. I squinted a bit, groaning as I pulled my blinds down. Who opened my window because I certainly didn't. Well, no point in staying in bed. I sat up, lazily rubbing my eyes to remove the haziness I felt.
I recounted the fun office work I've had with my fleet yesterday. Thanks to them, Admiral Roque said that I completed about half a week's worth in a day. I've had quite the blast working with everyone yesterday and I'm really thankful for everyone's despite acting that way, well that and I got two to three half days of nothing to do.
I got up, walking over to my stove in order to boil some water when I heard the faint trickle of water in my bathroom. Strange, I don't remember going into my bathroom yet and I'm pretty sure I wouldn't leave water just running during the evening. It'd flood both my dorm and my expense rates.... Someone was here with me, but I'm not sure who or what they even are.
My stomach grumbled a bit but I ignored it. I summoned B1, taking a few strides to my bathroom door. The sound of the water muffled the jamming sound of the doorknob when I twisted it, realizing that it was locked. It's gotta be someone, right? I just hope that it doesn't turn out to be my enemy, otherwise I'd have to scuff up my dorm a bit.
There was a voice inside, humming lowly while she showered. It wasn't a voice I recognized either. It was pretty high pitched and kind of annoying to listen to, but it is what it is. I knocked on the door, hoping to find out who it was as I readied B1's main guns so it'd be able to fire on command.
"Who is it? Sheffield-Chan? Are you there??" The female voice inside called out but I stayed silent, hoping that she'd just let her guard down and open the door. That being said though...I feel like there's no way that a girl would be able to keep her guard down, especially in the bath.
"Nee...it's not good to stay silent you know? I know you promised me that no one will attack me here but even so...this is your Commander's room! Who knows what he's going to when he finds me in here!" She exclaimed, her feet splashing in the shower as she got closer to the door. Will she open it? Also, why did I sound like a predator?! What did information did you feed them Sheffield?!
"Fine, seeing that Sheffield allowed you in here, I'll let you have your bath. I wanted to ask one thing though..." I said, trailing off when I heard a terrified squeak from the girl inside who hurriedly backed away from the door. Was I that terrifying? Surely, it's someone Sheffield knows, right? In that case she should've told her more about me...
I waited for her answer, pouting as I thought of what Sheffield told her. However, the shower never ceases running and she continued staying silent. Goddamn, this girl knew how to test my patience a bit. I sighed loudly, rapping the door just to hear another terrified shriek from inside.
"Keep on staying silent and I'm gonna start blasting the door! If you don't tell me your answer, I'm seriously going to attack you with all I've got!" I exclaimed, hitting the door. The door shook a bit and the lady's shrieks turned into an incomprehensible scream. Great, now I'll play the waiting game.
"I'm sorry! I'm sorry! I'm sorry!! I'm not your enemy at all!! Please believe this humble gamer maid!!" She yelled, turning off the shower, probably so that I could hear her answer. I chuckled upon hearing her adorable response. The hell was a gamer maid?! Oh well, I'd let her off the hook and let Sheffield explain later. After all, the two of them seemed acquainted with each other already.
"Alright, finish up your shower and we'll have some breakfast. After that, I'll call Sheffield so that she could explain to me what going on. If you want, you can fill me in so that I could get both sides of the story, Is that clear?" I said, hearing a loud and clear yes from her. It's a good thing she wasn't really a threat, well at least not for now. Besides, if she got through Sheffield's thick skull, I'm pretty sure she really won't mean any harm.
