the wasp woman

smiling her sinister smile

like she didn't believe in my reality

the warm rush of chemicals

sending the bright White

into swirling shades of blue

spiraling down

into oblivion

oh what fates

have brought me so low

bound here by

my disobedient mind

and my numb body

my eyes are leaking

and my

lips are parched

and my

scars like red ribbons

march along my thigh

i tried

to make them deeper

i cried

because it only lasted

too briefly

the reprive from the pain

the mundane
