Y/n's P.O.V

It was just an average day in class 1A at UA high. I sat alone at the back of the class blasting My Chemical Romance in my Beats by Dre wireless headphones and doodling in my sketchbook. The rest of my classmates talked idly amongst themselves while I sat alone and by myself and alone by myself alone like every other day.

Suddenly, the door opened and Mr Aizawa stepped into the classroom. The class immediately fell silent, everyone waiting patiently for what he had to say. I took off my Beats by Dre wireless headphones and set them down on my desk so that I'd be able to hear.

"Good morning brats- I mean students." Mr Aizawa said in a grumpy tone.

"Good morning Mr Aizawa." The class replied in unison.

"I have a special announcement today." He said, walking to the podium in the centre of the room. "I would like to introduce our new exchange student to you all. Everyone please give a warm welcome to Nomu Normalman."

He gestured to the door, where a large creature in a UA uniform was stepping into the room. He had beautiful, dark, bluish, purplish skin, captivating, beady, black eyes, a gorgeous, yellow beak and a pink, wrinkled brain that was exposed to the world. He was magnificent.

For some reason Midoriya's face turned ghostly pale as soon as Nomu entered the room but I thought nothing of it.

"Nomu Normalman..." I sighed dreamily. He was the most beautiful boy I had ever seen in my life.

"Normalman, you can take a seat next to l/n (last name) in the back." Mr Aizawa said.
"EyAHEUGH." replied Nomu as he made his way over to the empty seat next to mine.

I felt my face turn a bright cherry red as he sat down next to me. 'Ohmygoshohmygosh the most attractive boy I had ever laid eyes on is sitting next to me!!!' I thought excitedly, 'I should say something. Ok ok be cool. Introduce yourself!'

"Hey I'm y/n l/n, but you can just call me y/n." I said, hitting him with my signature smile.

"AUGH EEEK YEAAGH." replied Nomu.

"Oh Nomu, you're so sweet." I giggled and blushed.

Mr Aizawa cleared his throat. "If you two are done flirting I would like to start teaching now." He said, shooting us both a glare.

"Sorry sir." I replied, bowing my head in shame.

"Eeyeugh." Said Nomu.

"Thank you." Said Mr Aizawa. "Alright students today we're going to be learning about liver failure."

The rest of the lesson carried on without interruption. At the end of class, I gathered up my things and began walking to the cafeteria.
As I was making my way through the hallway, suddenly I was shoved to the ground. My books flew out of my hands and I banged the back of my head on the wall.

"Hey! What the h*ck!" I exclaimed, rubbing the back of my head in annoyance.

"Haha oops I'm sooooo sorry." The person who shoved me replied, "I'm loser intolerant so I didn't see you there."

"Nice one." Said the guy standing next to him.

"What do you jerkwads want?" I yelled at them.

"Oh simple." The first guy said, "Give us your lunch money."

"Or what?" I spat at him.

"Or WhAt?" He said in a mocking voice, "Or, uh, I'll break your face pipsqueak."

"Heheh good one." Said the second guy.

I rolled my eyes and started reaching for my stuff when the guy kicked my bag across the hallway.

"Didn't you hear us? Give us your lunch money." He said, clearly annoyed at my lack of compliance.

Terrified, I scooted backwards until I was against the wall. I felt hot tears begin to stream down my face. "Please just leave me alone." I sobbed.

"No ❤️" he replied.

Suddenly, out of nowhere a strong punch sent guy number one flying across the hall.

"ReeeAAAUGH." Said a commanding voice.

I turned around and saw Nomu standing there, fist clenched and looking at guy number two with a deadly glare.

"Eyo chilll it was just a joke bro." Guy number two said, holding up his hands in surrender.

"EYUGHEUUUUUUUGH!" Nomu screeched.

Guy number two turned around and sprinted down the hallway as fast as he possibly could (which was pretty fast, he must've had a speed quirk or something).

"T-thanks N-n-nomu." I said, wiping the tears from my eyes.

"Reyugghuh..." he said, looking at me with concern in his beady eyes.

"I-I'm fine. Just a l-little shaken up." I replied, flashing him a shaky reassuring smile.
Nomu helped me gather up all my belongings and walked me the rest of the way to the cafeteria. Once we arrived, he sat with me at my table (where I usually sat alone by myself alone) and took out his lunch.

"W-what do you have to eat?" I asked him curiously.

"I am dining on eggs." He said.

"Oh that's nice." I replied.

"Reeughhug?" He asked.

"Oh I don't usually eat lunch." I replied awkwardly.

"Urugh?" He asked, tilting his head to the side curiously.

I shrugged. "I guess I'm just not like other kids."
We ate in awkward silence for a bit before I tried once again to make casual conversation.

"So what do you like to do for fun?" I asked.

"Greeeereughzendoo."  He replied whilest chewing.

"Oh wow really?" I said, surprised, "I didn't take you for that kind of guy."

"Arghenzadooba." He said sheepishly.

"Ah I see." I chuckled.
We continued talking like this for a while longer and before I knew it the bell rang.

"Oh wow that was fast... wanna walk with me to class?" I asked somewhat shyly.

"Bedenzoo!" He replied happily.

"Great!" I said, my face lighting up with delight.
We walked back to class together, chatting idly the whole way there.
