Maria kicked her fat foot at the door as hot tears swelled behind her eyes. The heartless bitch with her dirty hair stormed out of the doors and into the snowstorm.

William's hands rested on Kirstin's waist as he gazed into her hazel eyes just like he had wanted to since September. Kirstin tangled her fingers in his hair, feeling her heartbeat rise and fall with every shaky breath they shared. The blue, Finnish, midwinter haze that her father had told her about enveloped every tree and animal in the spruce grove and making the snow gleam with a blue color.
"I don't know why I even considered Maria for a second," Kirstin stopped him and went on tiptoe to kiss him. He was brutally cold and Kirstin grasped his scarf to kiss him more forcefully; making him warm and lightly biting his lower lip. When she releases she says, "I'm so happy you came back to Finland."
"I couldn't stay away even if I wanted to."
Kirstin was shaking violently from an anxious heart.
"Why are you afraid?" William asks,
"You have nothing to be afraid of here, here it's just you and me and the trees.
