I finally get out of the house,take the bus and reach Starbucks.
However,to my surprise there is no sign of Jake.The only people there is an elderly couple and a girl of my age.She somehow fascinates me.I don't know why,but her jet black hair which is done in a bun looks amazing and it reveals a scar on her right cheek which was kind of beginning from her ear.
She catches me while I am staring at her.
Then to my surprise,she gives me a look as if she recognizes me and then she comes near the counter where I am standing and says, "Your'e Mally,right?"
"Yeah I am,"I reply back rather shocked because I did not know this mysterious person at all and I was quite certain that she was not in my college.Moreover,I was not at all popular at college and barely a few people knew me.
"I have to show you something,"she replies.With that she grabs my hand and pulls me out of the shop.
I am confused and in shock,"Who the hell are you and how do you know me?"I ask her.
I finally manage to free my hand and finally she answers my question."I am a friend of Jake,"she tells me."I have to show you a few really important things immediately."
I am not ready to take any risk especially because of my break up with Harry.Also, she first said she wanted to show me something and now she is like a a few things.I am perplexed.But a part of me inside wanted to go and look for something which concerned me.Since my childhood I had been a girl who had always been into a routine and had never had a life with too many ups and downs.I had always wanted to go on an adventure,to be engaged into something that really mattered and which really concerned me.
My heart wanted to go while my mind told me that something is not okay.This conflict between the heart and the brain always gave me troubles.
I went with her anyway.
