🌸A blanket of green covered the ground,🌸

🌸Balls of moss, round and round;🌸

🌸As mother nature touched the trees,🌸

🌸Out of worry, she looks and sees;🌸

🌸Winter was coming, that she knew,🌸

🌸Watching as the birds up and flew.🌸

🌸Leaves of emerald fell to the ground,🌸

🌸Leaving bare trees, tall and proud;🌸

🌸Piles and piles, bigger they grew,🌸

🌸Waiting for spring, to start anew.🌸

🌸As moths went by, the snow started to melt,🌸

🌸The moss reappeared, feeling like felt;🌸

🌸After all that time, winter had passed,🌸

🌸Spring had come,🌸
