Chapter 17- Sana in a Dilemma

Sana's Vanity

Sana was numb 😶

Not that she wasn't touched by any guy earlier, but this encounter was a lot more than just a touch!

Sana had always treated guys in her life as a mere distraction from her routine life... She would enjoy their company as long as they were cool and fun to be around....

No commitments and no emotional attachment... No drama and no filmy sorta romance....

Just when the guy with her would demand for emotional undertaking, she would back out...

She felt life was meant to be enjoyed... Love and all was definitely not her type...

She knew love brings pain with it... Sana had to bear mental trauma from a very early age.. so she developed this hard cover around her... Walls of desolution...

She had this fear of getting abandoned by people... Then one day she decided... She would not get involved in mentally taxing 'romantic relationships'.. and would leave people before they left her,,, AGAIN!

and her looks were enough for any guy to lose his mind... Well, she was damn hot... And people knew she had commitment problems... She feared relationships...

Not that she'd force anyone or lead them on... No false promises or pretenses.. she was vocal about her not being ready for relationships requiring any accounting for each other...

She loved her freeself... And thought relationships put a binding on people... Restrain actions and ultimately are the causes of two people splitting up... Therefore, she remained away from all this...

Fun and timepass that's what she'd say to the guy she would see... That's how our Sana is..

Sorry, WAS! Coz after Sid, her belief was shaken... There were instances pushing her to introspect and look forward to an engaging life... Not like a wanderer but a happy soul who does not fear indulging in promises...

Sana refrained from catching love for anyone... Cz she was mentally prepared... Also, there was no connection with anybody... But this time around, it was a lotttttt!! Lot had remained unsaid between them...

They did enjoy each other's company... But Sid did not know a lot about how he ended up getting this job... With Sana!! Well, she didn't fear that ... She had her ways to make him stay with her...

That wasn't the only issue...

She started changing her dress... Slipped in to formals and got ready for her meeting....

while looking at her reflection on mirror, she traced her fingers on the glass and said, "Kya main badal sakti hoon?"

that's all she coud say...

and with this thought in her mind... She decided to leave...

She stepped out of her vanity and the first thing she saw was Sid... Flipping through the pages of the file.. he looked stupid hot... Scratching his forehead and murmuring something to himself...

drowned into deep thinking... Of what? Obviously, office work, Silly Sana! She tapped herself... She went upto him and asked, "Kya soch rahe ho Siddharth?"

"Ma'am bus aaj ki meeting ke liye... Sab ready hai... I hope we crack the deal today!"

"Yeah, me too!" and smiled...(fake, obviously)

"Chale ma'am?"

"Sure"

Sid called the driver... And opened the door for her... While sitting... Her hands brushed against his... While Sid didn't realise or prolly didn't react, Sana felt goosebumps yet again...
