Looking at you

when I look at you, You dangle my heart off the ledge of a 10 story building, and you didn't even notice I put my passion in this poetry for you, and you've supplied me with my Oxytocin That's why I smile when you smile, your smile is so potent. Potent in a way that makes me want to scream at the ocean that I LOVE YOU! And I love you with all of my heart and lungs too because every breath I take tastes like your presence. So I breath my breath for you. They say love is a drug that makes everything feel right. Like staring at the stars while laying under a streetlight. Baby the sky is so bright tonight. They say the worst thing you can do is reminisce. But I can't help but think back to all the times you've smiled. Or the times I've made you laugh. So tell me why is it that Whenever I reminisce.. I think about you. I get those same butterflies I got when I first laid eyes on you. Life is easy because hard times ain't hard times when through the hard times I can think about you. They say love is death but I took out the th replaced it with an f and put my poems in sign language for you. When I look at you... I can't ever remember which hand I write with and my hands shake but bring on the sloppy handwriting and spilled drinks. Because nothing in this world compares to looking at you.
